Well I believe its an estimated quotation which can never give an acurate measurement. It will only guide you. He didn't make provision for cladding, and flashings ( ridge, gutter, eave angle, bottom, e.t.c ) |

bukkie01:This are Zinc and Aluminium roofing sheets - but they're not as good as Longspan. It's better to use Longspan or Asbestos roofing sheet (IN MY OPINION) |

I called 3 installer The first one gave me quote of roof 466 square meter clouding 130 square metre Total of 596 square meters The 2nd installer gave roof 402.3 square meter Clouding 55 square meter Flat sheet 50 square meters Total of 507.3 square meters The 3rd installer gave me roof 396.8 square meters Cladding 55.6 square meters Flash sheet 48 square meters Total of 500.4 square meters I still feel it still not up to this saydfact: |

osayuwamwen:not that what I calculated for is LONG SPAN ROOFING - if its GERRADE it wld be more... also, I assumed the eave projection was 450mm.. if its wrong, what was used on site. lastly, I only calculated the roof covering minus the others cladding etc... |

osayuwamwen:go with the 2nd or 3rd guy - both are about same. Note: apart from the Length, Breath and King post you sent; there are other measurements needed to calculte Area of Roofing (which you did not send) and I assumed dimension for those/ So. my area of 340m2 might not be accurate. |

olig:Evening... On wood - the answer is yes. But it needs a lot of experience.. Your roofing is in the region of 420-450m2 I won't advice long span because of the many small entities. Goodluck |
