Serving both as a party officer (especially chairman) and a Minister raises concerns about whether state resources or government machinery are being used for party advantage. Is APC intertwining federal funds with party funds ? There is conflict of financial interest in one person being party chairman running the party and also sitting on the federal executive council with a budget allocated to him from federal allocation. |

malali:When you were busy supporting him to become president, people like us were telling you guys this man is worst of all the candidate on the ballot, you people thought we just hated him or we were being political, look at all the candidates who came out for president, some have ruled as governors before, ask yourself which one of them still holds his state to ransom like Tinubu is doing in Lagos for over 20 years with impunity? I kept on asking myself do you people ever learn? I told you guys your eyes will open but it might be in the hard way... |

Yilwatda was appointed on July 24, 2025, replacing Abdullahi Ganduje, who resigned on health grounds. However, unlike standard practice where cabinet members stepping into partisan leadership positions resign their ministerial posts, the former Plateau governorship candidate has continued to straddle both roles. |

How can a sitting minister, who is supposed to serve all Nigerians, also function as the partisan head of the ruling party? It compromises neutrality, and it is unlawful”. All ministers from every government in every country are inherently partisan. They are party members. |
