Yes better to change am . Quality of the engine oil matters . And also turning black before due time could mean the oil is cleaning out the engine .

No ....all petrol cars engine oil tend to turn black.bt is ur car smoking?is ur rings ok?do u use full synthetic oil?

Is your engine "shorting" oil?

That's what would make your engine oil turn black.

Your engine should maintain a brown color from the day you pour it in till the day you change it. This is if your engine is healthy and not burning oil due to wear and tear.

My engine oil color remains the same from the day I pour it in till the last day. And the engine doesn't burn even a drop of oil.

If its 20w50. After 3months of daily driving.

You can't just assume it has turned black and it has lost its viscosity. That's why modern cars will clearly state when maintenance is required.
Hope you reset your trip meter after your last servicing?
