if Palestine can get to the state where Taiwan is I think that is fine,a stage where they're able to have an airport of port of their own,a seaport of their own and even a standing national armed forces. They just want to be free
That ship has long sailed, mate!!

The Arab leadership were the first to rejected a two-state solution!

A Palestine state is sadly not feasible!! That's the honest truth. It is a matter of national security for a Palestine state not to fester alongside the state of Israel

Which European countries will put boots on the ground in Gaza to enforce a resolution by the UN??

You think if China were this strong, she would have allowed Taiwan to become what she is today? The reason why Taiwan has developed and has acquired some levels of deterrence was because of the Chinese inadequacies. Don't you see the emergence of a powerful China has is now directly proportional to the belligerence that China is giving towards Taiwan

Mere words by elected officials of other countries giving any simplest of legality to the Taiwanese government is met with rancour by the Chinese government, it is enshrined in Chinese laws that Taiwan must be reunited with mainland China either peacefully or forcefully

It is in china interest to keep Taiwan the way she is now, without any form international recognition have you read China's "Anti-Secession Law" the law prohibits any act of "Taiwan independence" and authorizes the use of non-peaceful means to prevent Taiwan's permanent separation from China. So it is the same with the Jews, a Palestinian state is non negotiable, it is a matter of survival

So Russia and China isn't enough to bring the fictional Palestine state to reality??🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

But, but, but Russia and China have already recognized the Palestine state, what good will be few European nations do?? I thought Russia and China were the "supposedly" super powers!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

While the Jews are making moves around Jerusalem, beefing up diplomatic holds on the ground by allocating forgien embassies and consulate on the said territory, others are busy hyping a mere recognitions which changes nothing on the ground

Even Taiwan with a more robust diplomatic tentacles than Palestine can't be called a sovereign state, so if a few European countries were to recognized Taiwan as a sovereign state those that makes it a state??
People make comments based on emotions and not the reality of things.
Kosovo was backed by the US and yet it's still not recognized by the UNSC because both Russia and China were against it.
The SADR declared independence around 76, recognized by the almost all of AU but the US stood in the way of it Statehood.
There's Somaliland, the largest unrecognised state in the world by de facto controlled land area.
The list goes on

The reality remains, for a territory to gain statehood, all 5 permanent members of UNSC must approve of it otherwise it's just a piece of land.

The agreement commits both nations to enhanced defense cooperation and states that any attack on one will be considered an attack on both.

The Saudis no dey play with their security.

After the Houthis mend them and the Americans couldn't stop the attack on oil installations, they pursued reconciliation with Iran.
After Satanyahu's strike, they're signing the defense pact with Pakistan which invariably places them under the security umbrella of China.

Dem dey wait for the outcome of the Iran-Israel rematch.
If Iran wins against the odds, dem go start dey tell the US to downsize their forces for Saudi Arabia.
And they'll seriously consider negotiating a peace treaty with the Houthis.

The Americans in SA are still intercepting Houthi missiles, because the Americans are holding them up to the letter of their agreement.
The Americans are there to intercept Houthi projectiles in Saudi air space.
They didn't specify that the Americans should only intercept projectiles that'd terminate in SA in the agreement. Na normal legalese.

As I said a few days ago, it has caught most of us off guard that the US influence in the ME will peak this year.

Oga if you had at least involved yourself in ordinary school politics and gain election into one or two students affairs offices you would have acquired at least a little idea of how politics work. So it doesn't occur to you that by deepening ties with Pakistan, Saudi Arabia shows the US that it has other options? This gives them some degree of leverage in negotiations with the U.S.
It also reassures Saudi leaders that, even if U.S. support wavers, they won’t be left exposed. History has shown that it's a mistake to have all eggs in one basket. At least they share some cultural and religious ties with Pakistan.

Mr politician ABI na master strategist

It only means that SA has lost confidence or trust in what US will bring to the table table when they're needed the most, they've have seen how US couldn't protect Israel from that is about 2000km away, they have seen seen how US sold Doha when Israel attacked them.
They have seen how Europe is also looking for alternative to US the security US is giving them

Which liverage do they need when negotiating with US ,why is it that it's now that they need leverage. Why is it that is now that they think they should not put their eggs in one basket after more than 50 years together

ELIMINATED
Hamas Founder’s Grandson and Namesake Eliminated as IDF Drives Deeper into Gaza City

The IDF has reportedly ELIMINATED Abdel Aziz Muhammad al-Rantisi, the grandson and namesake of Hamas co-founder Abdel Aziz al-Rantisi, during fighting in Gaza City. Initial claims surfaced on Arabic channels and were echoed by Israeli media monitoring those reports.

The slain operative was identified by relatives online; his father wrote that his eldest son ā€œwent on the attack and did not retreat,ā€ underscoring his combat role.

The Rantisi name is deeply tied to Hamas’s leadership; the elder Abdel Aziz al-Rantisi—one of the group’s founders—was killed by Israel in an airstrike in 2004.

OFFICIALLY OFFICIAL

The UK will recognize Palestine this weekend.

For the ret**ds at the back, by this time next week Palestine will have been recognized by 4 of the 5 UNSC P5.

In 1971, the UNGA passed a resolution that evicted the ROC (Taiwan) and welcomed the PRC (Mainland China) as the UN recognized government of China.
As of 1971, the US was the only UNSC P5 power yet to make the switch. They kept insisting they'd block the switch if put before the UNSC, so the resolution was put before the UNGA.
The US and 35 other countries voted against the resolution, but the US lacked a veto and the resolution passed.
Later in 1979, the US with their tails between their legs were forced to recognize the PRC.

🤔🤔 who are allergic to history will learn.

We'll be picking up the recognitions like pokemons.
The UNGA created Libya.
We've already put a deadline-based Palestine recognition resolution before the UNSC.
The next time will be at the UNGA and it will pass.

The same UN General Assembly adopted a resolution that demands an immediate, unconditional, and permanent ceasefire in the war in Gaza?? How did the resolution go?? Is there a ceasefire in Gaza now??🤣🤣🤣

This came after the Security Council’s failure to pass a similar resolution owing to a lone veto by permanent member the United States

Two Resolutions have been passed by the UNGA on Russia regarding the war in Ukraine. Let's start with the United Nations General Assembly Resolution ES‑11/1, A resolution of the eleventh emergency special session of the United Nations General Assembly, adopted on 2 March 2022. It deplored Russia's invasion of Ukraine and demanded a full withdrawal of Russian forces and a reversal of its decision to recognise the self-declared People's Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk. Have Russia withdrawn from Ukraine after the UNGA resolution??🤣🤣

The second one which passed with overwhelming majority the resolution ES‑11/4, the General Assembly declares that the sham referendums held in the Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, which were conducted under disputed circumstances and unrecognised by the international community, as well as their subsequent annexation by Russia, are invalid and illegal under international law. It calls upon all states to not recognise these territories as part of Russia. Furthermore, it demands that Russia "immediately, completely and unconditionally withdraw" from Ukraine as it is violating its territorial integrity and sovereignty

Since the two UNGA resolutions passed and were adopted, has Russia stopped the war in Ukraine? has she relinquished her stronghold hold on the annexed territory in Ukraine??🤣🤣

Funny fact: Russia vetoed the above Resolutions at the UNSC level, and they only passed in the UNGA, which they know holds no water

The UNGA should go and enforce her resolutions in Gaza and Ukraine

It's so funny that the same people who were mocking the UNGA resolutions on Russia are now hyping a potential UNGA resolution because it now has to do with Palestine.
