I thought the federal government warns about flooding. Abi edo state nor join?

Last year, I was able to rescue a commercial motorcyclist during a down pour.

As the erosion was trying sweep the man and his motorcycle, the man was calling for help but people were watching from nearby shops,. The man held onto the motorcycle shouting for help.

I joined him, both of us held motorcycle firmly, trying to pull it out of the erosion. Eventually we succeeded and the man said he was rushing home to close the window, he left the window open when leaving the house.

He gave me #500 and I rejected it, but when the pressure was much I later collected the money.

Most Nigerians don't take their own security and safety seriously. Na so one popular imam and his followers from Osogbo perished in kwara state erosion/flood because they were in a rush to get home.

UPDATE : the man’s body has been found and he don Kpai.
Let’s be careful when making decisions in risky situations, shit could’ve easily been avoided.

On September 16th at around 4:45pm this heartbreaking incident happened!

A man on a motorcycle who was attempting to cross past a heavy erosion was washed away by the erosion. All attempts to rescue the man was unsuccessful.

If our politicians did their jobs and provided the basics like good roads then things like this won’t make the news.

The foolishness of Nigerians is depicted in failing to learn from others mistakes e.g

Scooping fuel from fallen tankers that spills its contents.

Driving or walking through erosion,gully, carnal during heavy downpour

Climbing weak septic tank or soakway

Overspeeding or wrongful overtaking

Etc The aftermath is blamed against Satan, household wickedness,village people and witchcraft.
