She actually shot herself. No be everything be gragra. Some issues are better approached with sense and diplomacy and that doesn't mean you're weak. If care is not taken, she may not return to that hollow chamber before the next general election if the power that be actually mean her. You also don't go making spurious and damning allegations without having concrete evidence to back up your claims. I'm sure she's already liking her fingers and counting her losses.
It's only in Nigeria that you have to apologise for doing the right thing or for speaking the truth

She should withdraw the case and apologize. Wisdom is profitable to direct. Fubara had a brain reset and stopped listening to those that misled him. Today, he’s back in office. Natasha needs a brain reset as well but as it stands, that has not happened. She will learn humility by force.
The OP( Boblico and co) - the people that loved the Opposition party above NIGERIA ITSELF!
And they claimed Patrotic - when they see everything as wrong.
Natasha - who loves to be accusing everyone,
joined together with Mrs Obi- Ezekwesili - that ought to know better - that Natasha is being used- Just To Destabilise the Govt.
Here you are now pleading for No of DAYS- she is serving her Punishment - BUT YOU DID NOT SHOW THE DAMAGED SHE HAS DONE TO THE SENATE INSTITUTION ( the Red Chamber).
Are we really Jazzed in Nigeria ?

Stop embarrassing yourself on public platform on issues you have limited knowledge on. Nobody has time to come to your level to start explaining the issue to you please.
How is he embarrassing himself?

His level is obviously superior to yours; you are the one that needs to be understood and informed on the matter.

Natasha is yet to provide the sexual harassment evidence though.

She defamed Akpabio even when all evidence from her own social media posts showed that she lied against the senate president.

She then became unruly, took the senate to court and tried to create a scene by returning herself to the red chamber.

She should be getting ready for 2027 otherwise she will have no party to run for any elective position

Where did you all emerge from?

If a lower court delivers a judgment and the party is dissatisfied with the outcome, does the law not afford her the right to seek redress by appealing to a higher court.
☝️Yes,it does but she has to wait for the judgement of her appeal before deciding what to do. Her option is to withdraw the appeal.

In every Senate across the world, distinguished senators are expected to comport themselves with decorum, respectfully and in compliance with the Rules of the Hallowed Chamber.

When you violate the rules, there will be consequences and punishment to serve as deterrent for you and others that may do the same and ultimately create a precedence.

Stop being sentimental and address the issue clearly as it is:

Natasha disrupted the Senate session because her seat was changed, along with several other senator's seats - which is the norm in the Senate and a prerogative of the Senate leadership. Natasha disrespected the Senate President, who was the presiding officer on that day, she insulted him and insulted the leadership by shouting all over the house and making spurious allegations that she has substantiated till date. She was unruly on that day and that is the reason the Senate Committee on ethics and privileges was mandated to investigate her case, gave her opportunity to defend herself which she dodged and rather went to court to address but forgot that the house activities can not be stopped by the court, the Committee concluded their investigation howbeit and recommend her suspension to the Senate.

The Senate confirmed her suspension so what are you saying about the truth.

What truth are you referring?

With this kind of citizen in this country, when will Nigeria enjoy good governance?
That kind of citizen may be emotionally more intelligent than you could be in reality. You are obviously struggling to see the logic upon which he based his position.

wetin this one dey talk, if you don't know what to say, just keep quiet, people like you are the reason all these politicians see misbehaving as normal thing
But you too didn't say anything. Natasha refused to comply with court ruling, in her appeal she claimed the court lack jurisdiction. And we all witnessed what happened, therefore this punch editorial just misleading.

not ready for peace? Are you for real? She desperately wants her mandates to represent her people restored and Akpabio and his co-conspirators are denying her people the right of representation, they are ego tripping and are trampling on her rights and her people, the allegations against Akpabio are not baseless because he did same to the former NNDC woman, he is one of the highest benefactors of Nollywood actresses, even girls selling pure water on the streets of Akwa Ibom all knows his story as a sexually reckless fellow
...is that why the senate should subvert judicial process? Is the matter not subjudice?
Re: End The Natasha Impasse - Punch Editorial by Successlane: 8:54am On Sep 18, 2025
This almighty Akpabio should know that nothing last forever.

Where are those before him?

He should realize, one day he will be ex- or Late- (as any human) senate president

He better check his excesses,

Re: End The Natasha Impasse - Punch Editorial by malali: 9:00am On Sep 18, 2025
Even Tinubu that declares state of emergency in Rivers state has reinstated the Fubara

Your fall is coming soon.....Na Senate president you be.....you no be God.

This is not about Apabio. Similar things could happen with another Senator as Senate President.

This is about setting a precedence on matters that concerns the Rules of the Senate.

When any Senator, big or small, male or female, from northern or southern Nigeria or whatever you are as senator, violates the Rules of the Senate, you will be judged and there will be consequences and punishment, however minimal or severe.

Some lies and mendacity in Punch, I mean PUNCH editorial:
1.180 days is not the same as legislative days. 181 legislative days cover the whole year, holidays inclusive.
2.Punch picked the judge's advice to the Senate and labeled it an order as if court can direct legislative duties.
3. The judgement quoted by Punch is actually appealed by Natasha herself. You want the Senate to overlook that?
4. Punch's narrative is that there are responsibility on the part of Senator Natasha to fulfill before being called back. She was to apologise and publish in in 3 Newspapers for obvious insouciance and blackmail of the Senate as a whole and Akpabio in particular.

How about Punch, a revered Newsprint for a change asking Natasha to eat the humble pie and withdraw all the cases attached to her misadventure? The Newpapers have feasted enough on her saga and should allow the matter to rest. There are on daily basis salacious news they can feast on without endangering the political space. shocked

Tell her to present her evidence in open court—if I were Senate President, she would never be allowed into the chambers unless she brings that evidence forward. This fight should be about the future; you cannot make baseless allegations without proof—it’s wrong.

It's not every time a woman can prove sexual harassment. Especially when she wasn't recording. I say this as a woman.

Then let her honor the instructions of the court.

She should apologize publicly and on her socials.
