Hiv has now been relegated to the background as though it doesn't exist.

With the new hookup culture, you see people skin diving with reckless abandon

The pleasure of skin to skin doesn't compare to the regret that follows

People should be careful

Having HIV isn't the end of the world, and therefore HIV positive people should not be stigmatized.
You do not have to fear rejection anymore especially as there are several Peer Support Groups for People Living with HIV in Nigeria.
Find out about these groups, and join them.
It'll help a lot.

Why not go for someone not infected?
Combination of strains may lead to superinfection.

Omo every man and woman should zip up. That thing is not good. Especially now that USA has removed the support, many may find it hard accessing the treatment bc our naija govt no send anyone. Protect yourself and stay healthy make 5 mins pleasure no bring forever regrets to your precious life.
Re: My Greatest Fear As an HIV Patient by derico(m):
So, USAID has stopped β€” no more free PEP drugs. These medications were already very expensive, and now with inflation, rising import costs, and the removal of WHO subsidy, the situation is even tougher.

But here’s the thing: HIV is not an automatic death sentence.
With proper management, people can live healthy lives for 10–20 years or more.
So, why the intense fear?

The real concern, I think, is what happens now that support is shrinking. Will people start to face the harsh reality of the disease?
Will we begin to see more cases of AIDS-related deaths?

Honestly, I’ve always worried about those who go around sleeping with sex workers without protection.
Strangely enough, many of them still appear HIV-free.
Maybe luck? Maybe low exposure? Who knows. πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

Either way, this new reality is a wake-up call. The game has changed, and everyone needs to take responsibility for their health choices.

The stigma should be the least of your worries. You should worry about the availability of ARV drugs...if they cut off the supplies nko?

My brother some people just chose to be ignorant, if you know the large numbers of people moving around with different kinds of sexually transmitted infections fear go catch you.

If a woman sucks the dick of a man who has syphilis, Chlamydia, herpes, genital warts, herpertitis B, she stands a chance of being infected through her mouth regardless if the guy ejaculate in her mouth or not.and if she sucks another guy's dick with that infected mouth the guy has a high chance of being infected. You chook preek for ashawo mouth wear condom take sleep with her na yourself you dey deceive.

You people will be shouting skin to skin up and down, granted that is the most common way to contact the virus. But is that the only way? You can avoid skin to skin and still contact it. Keep yourself informed.

Why do people always fear being judged?

It doesn't always make sense to me.

Judging is essential as survival...

We won't have rules, laws, court and lawyers is judging is bad.

WHO AM I NOT TO JUDGE?

EVEN GOD WILL JUDGE US ON THE LAST DAY
