The key benefit of the pact for Pakistan is that it does not have to worry about financing.

For the first time in history, Democrats will introduce a Palestine recognition bill to the US Senate.
Next week, a similar resolution will also be introduced in the House.
Both will fail.
But it is a crucial first step in recognizing the changing domestic political tides wrt to Palestine.

The plurality of young people in the US are for Palestine statehood.
The politicians are beginning to read the tea leaves.

The boomers will not live forever.

It is pertinent to note that this is not a partisan issue. Republican Representative Marjorie Greene and Democrat Senator Bernie Sanders have both echoed the UN label that Israel's actions in Gaza constitute a genocide.

If only had Iran had acquired Nukes, countries like Qatar and UAE would have signed defense pacts similar to Pakistan-Saudi Arabia.

Iran even has more conventional missiles than Pakistan and a larger army.

A very great nation with foolish leaders.
