Starlink has paused new orders for its residential internet kits in some of Nigeria’s busiest cities after reaching network capacity. Several parts of Lagos, including Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lagos Island, and Surulere, as well as Abuja, are now marked as “Sold Out” on the company’s website due to congestion on its network.

For residents in these areas, new subscriptions are only possible through a waitlist. Prospective users must pay a deposit and will be notified once additional capacity becomes available. At Chevyville Estate in Lekki, for example, a subscription attempt returned the message: “Starlink service is currently at capacity in your area. However, the good news is you can still place a deposit now to reserve your spot on the waitlist and receive a notification as soon as service becomes available again.”

I am asking of the digits on your virtual card. Are they 19 or 16 digit. You can check this in your Opay app. For instance, mine is 16, not like the normal Opay physical card that has 19 digits. The 16 digits virtual card is not as acceptable as the 19 digits one. Kindly check your app.

Was considering Ecoflow but seems the only Ecoflow that would power the Gen starts at around 700k.

Looking for something around the <=500k mark.

Go to the ecoflow nigeria site, not jumia and get the ecoflow delta 2 black (E980) for 430k or the ecoflow river 3 plus for 345k.

I am in Ibadan and would like to buy starlink mini. Is it recommened to buy directly through starlink offical website or through a platform like Jumia? Part of my asking include ease of activation and speed of delivery.


And if I may ask, what is the average power consumption for Starlink mini when in operation?
