[quote author=iamoyindamola post=136825724]This analysis explains gyokeres If he wants to succeed at AFC he needs to improve is not skilled enough, he is just physical. Even me, my first instinct will be to angle the ball in a way that will instantly put me in front of the defenders. The first control here is the deal. |

Yesterday I was happy for Martinelli not just because of his goal but his general play when he came on. For the first time in many games abi ages he dribbled pass his marker, that assist sweet me pass d goal cus I have seen him score that kind of goal many times but to dribble and still find space to pass the ball to a free player was so fuccking good. Calafiori loved the goal that he kept pointing at Martinelli's name to the fans. Completed his dribble attempts 100% Completed his passes Won his duels. I hope his confidence comes back on but abeg make he no start against City on Sunday shaa. He and Trossard should be our cheat code for tiring defenders. |

[quote author=iamoyindamola post=136825724]This analysis explains gyokeres If he wants to succeed at AFC he needs to improve positioning and running pattern. It was the same scenario with Martinelli and Haaland in the PL and both scored. He will have to improve or get frozen |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Spy360(m): 4:43pm On Sep 17, 2025 |
germaphobe:Martinelli's pace can make him an impact sub. Gyokeres too would have scored if he came as a substitute. It's easier to impact a game from the bench than when starting |

iamoyindamola:Win or not am disappointed, there was a time Eze drifted inward and Artete was barking at him to come back to the touchline... He's rigid AF, the team suffers offensively whenever Rice and Merino are paired e.g. Liverpool ( both this and last season) and Bournemouth game where Saliba got red comes to mind... Try that v City, God help them.... |

They are turning Arsenal into Family Club 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗢𝗿𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻: Tim Lewis is set to leave his position as executive vice-chair of Arsenal in a significant shake-up of the club's board. Corporate lawyer Lewis, 62, has advised Arsenal’s ownership group Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) since 2007 but became a director of the Premier League club in September 2020 and was then promoted in March 2023. Lewis has long been associated with Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke, 78, with his shock exit from the role representing a dramatic change in Arsenal’s leadership structure. Josh Kroenke, 45, has played an increasingly prominent role at the club in recent years and will continue to do so, while managing director Richard Garlick is now set to become CEO. There will also be further additions made to the board with two more KSE representatives to bring the family closer to the club as well as a long-term advisor and Ben Winston, the film producer and director and Arsenal season-ticket holder, joining. |

MSGAMBLE9:You know your perspective is different from theirs, right?. You might see it as bringing in yes men, but they see it as bringing in people who have shown over time that they're are all about their growth and development. Would you rather have someone who have been with you for years and you trust to do a lot for you or someone new who is also qualified for the same job?. Josh said something about bringing in people who want to help deliver trophies to the club, IMPROVE FINANCIAL STATUS and give fans something to be happy about. If the family is experienced in the field and wants what's best for the family which includes overall improvement in terms of trophies and profit, then they should go ahead. My own na for them to be as supportive as they have shown and be proactive in decision making. |

Pain landing in Pep's Corner... Pep Guardiola on Arsenal's spending: "Only I want to say to my friend, Mikel Arteta, if he wins the [Premier League] title it will JUST be because of spending, not because he worked a lot. "Like Liverpool! If Arne [Slot] wins [the title] again, it will be because he spent a lot of money, right? Because it’s not just Man City that that's happened right? So, all of them [do it]. "Listen, for many, many years, every club can do whatever they want! I know how we've been treated is completely different, but what they want to spend is because they want it, and it’s fine! Then the only thing I can say is they've been wise, spent what they believe they can do, to compete against the best in the Premier League, in Europe..."
