As the clampdown continues, more properties with established links to cult activities are expected to be demolished, reinforcing the government’s declaration that there is no safe haven for cultists in Edo State.

Well this is very good. I applaud whoever is carrying out the demolition and I hope innocent guys houses aren't involved!

Did the confra give the house owners the money they used in building? Is the confra a money making business?

Why destroy properties that have no monetary ties to being in a society? Did they scream aye or eiye and money came from somewhere to enable them build houses? 🤔

Why destroy the houses? Why not just seize them and convert them to something that will benefit the state later on.

I seriously don't understand this new way of destroying properties because of the owner's tie to criminality. Why are houses belonging to corrupt politicians not destroyed too.

I want to believe the demolishments have court backings otherwise those actions are jungle justices and anarchical acts.
