You are wrong, with or without paper trails she stands a good chance at the immigration tribunal.
If you lived abroad ... and pay attention to the system ... you would've known that her chances of remaining in the UK is slim to none. She had a better chance if she had made a report immediately if all her filings to get the visa were without blemish. It was her duty to know the conditions of the visa ...and that she would be in violation if she worked for more than 20 hours. Many do ...but off the books. Did she? Even so ... it's a risk ...and when caught ..one should not be wailing but face the consequences of which she knew. This situation is what many who are in violation of immigration laws are facing daily.... living in fear. This I see daily ... the fear is real. I'm not sure if it would be a wise decision for her to hire a lawyer to fight her case....the ruling is not likely to change .

I watched her video on fb and i sympathised with her, if her explanation is anything to go by then its really sad.

She needs to appeal the decision and given a chance to appear in front of immigration tribunal for a good chance to stay and finish her degree
But she didn't go to UK to study naaa. She's an economic migrant

We just like breaking laws, she knew about this law, and intentionally broke it with the excuse that she lost her sponsor

Nigeria is the bad destination unless you're into circumventing the law

Oga all this is shedding crocodile tears. Rules are rules, UK is not naija. The terms of the student visa is clearly stated, under no circumstances must you break it. If she lost her main sponsor then she is no longer eligible to stay as she cannot sponsor her way through school without engaging in illegally. Maybe she should have considered informing the home office and her school of her bereavement, maybe a scholarship or extention of work hours may have been given. Instead she broke the law, Omo oyinbo do not bend rules (when it is not as if she is a jew)
Same thing with the usual naija anyhow way of doing things, you take sokoloan, or any of those loan apps, when it is time to pay you don't, when they now embarrass the person, he then comes oneline to give stories of how some personal tragedy came up making him unable to pay the money, but there was no tragedy when enjoying the cash.

Sure she can use a lawyer if she got the money or basically do it herself.
Poor girl. I hope everything works out for her.

It would have been better if she had informed the Home Office she lost her Dad and would like to add extra hours.
It's too late now
Don't mind Nigerians, they they can breach laws as they do in Nigeria and get away with it.

Deport her immediately

They will never understand that a system that fully works can easily destroy ur life.i had chance to settle in uk bt chose naija. Why did i ?i know myself n understand i cannot survive that system. A system where i cant drink n drive or knack students or runs girls to ease my soul.u wan kii me?even to run a business there na war...too many bottleneck. My problem wit naija is security. I dey naija n hav solved my electricity problem via solar panels...bt security i still cant solve as man wey mistakenly enter kidnappers hand is a finished man
You sef, why do you want to drink and drive? That's very reckless and irresponsible. You are part of Nigeria's problem.

I can only join other Nigerians to pray for her. As someone without a passport, I still don't know how Nigerians are coping in the UK.

The news coming from there always is always disturbing. I was on a space of Nigerians in the UK few days ago and I'm just praying for them... How are they managing paying thousands of pounds for papers all the time.

Sincerely I really wish Nigeria National orientation agency will start speaking up... Many Nigerians are fine living in Nigeria but because of online noise about abroad some will resign from government jobs, abandoned flourishing business only to arrive abroad and start developing high blood pressure over bills.

Just last week i heard a gist of a man who sold two buildings just to travel to the US, he has been booted out now and don't know how to start again... Abroad is good with testimonies but I think its not for everyone.
I saw a woman who came back. She said her life in Nigeria was better than UK. She didn't care about what people will say she came back with her children

She should appeal to the local MP and make sure local papers and networks pick it up. Likely she will be allowed to finish her degree on compassionate grounds.

I would be 90% certain of this were it not for the anti immigrant campaign by Farage's Reform Party and that Robinson chap!

We dont know all the facts though because there is also a quota of classes that must be attended.
Yes she will, hopefully someone in authority will see her video and get in touch

So there is no possible chance of her staying or even applying for her Msc?
Staying to finish her degree? Possible but staying longer for another course is unlikely

That's questionable, just saying.

Feel bad for her anyways.

They want you to study not to work, the work hours is even to help with one or two expenses, I think the best thing for her would have been to meet the school and see if they can give her some scholarship, that would have been better.

I do and in my opinion if she appeals the decision and appear at the tribunal she will be allowed to stay back and finish her course. Cancelling her visa and asking her to leave the country immediately is too harsh, yes she broke her student visa rules but the punishment need to be measured

🤣🤣🤣🤣 I get one woman like that a white UK woman depression de always deal with her, she wants me to always online with her 24/7 but she can't help me with any financial assistance, even when i fall sick, she tells me stories here and there. I mean she's extremely stingy, she doesn't give except if you're her family member. I stayed with that woman for 3 years got tired of her and quit

I watched the video and she is studying digital marketing something like that, why do Nigerians spend thousands of pounds to go study this nonsense courses in the UK. This people just want your money, that is why they are offering you this rubbish programs that you can learn online from the comfort of your bedroom in Nigeria, no need to go to the UK only your brainwashed mindset is making you go to the UK to study digital whatever.

Depending on her type of student visa, she's probably not allow to work up to 20hrs in a week.

Her university may have its own rules regarding the type and number of hours she can work.
