It is neither, actually.

There were 2 paths we could have taken 20yrs ago;
A. education, books, businesses, trainings, brilliance etc
OR
B. motivation, religion, quick wealth schemes, fashion, entertainment etc.

We chose the latter.

What we see here on nairaland is the consequence not the choice.

PS.
In developed nations, the 2 paths run concurrently but Nigeria, like all "under-developing" and "un-developing" nations, do not get that luxury.

If I were him, I would lose/let go of the rice in one palm/hand. I dont need to pour all away, just pour the rice on one palm/hand away , and you are free.
