In as much as I found most of this killings senseless, but have we all sat down and ask ourselves if most of the victims of these senseless killings are truly innocent? . Cus honestly, I find it hard to believe one will just wake up and go target someone to hurt, harm or kill without knowing that person and he or she hasn't done anything at all to the perpetrator. Let's not be deceived by one been a rev'd father, businessman, politician, lawyer, doctor you name them. Most of these people have dark secrets and engaged in some unholy acts that makes them victims of whoever they offend in retaliation. . I don't have anything else to say than may the soul of the departed priest rest in peace if his hands are clean! |

Criminality has no boundaries of tribe or religious affiliation. Instead of coming together to fight this menace through collaboration with law enforcement and mutual respect, we allow divisive mindsets to prevail. The result is evident: whenever an incident occurs, people rush to profile the perpetrators without evidence, thereby heightening tension, deepening mistrust, and creating unnecessary fear and insecurity among innocent citizens. Too often, you hear unfounded claims such as “it is Fulani herdsmen” or “it is IPOB,” without any proof. |

Sirjamo:the failure of your clueless APC governments to resolve the riddles of these killings across the country, fuels these speculations. let your clueless APC governments apprehend and prosecute these heartless criminals by whatever name tag you prefer to call them, and all these needless killings will stop, but unfortunately your irresponsible government is busy playing politics with the lives of Nigerians, while the gullible Nigerians are busy blaming the victims of crimes. can you explain why the Canadian court can boldly declare that your various ruling parties in Nigeria, i.e. PDP and APC are terrorists organizations ? Yet you are not bothered about the consequences of misrule, but rather you are shamelessly blaming the victims of their glaring misrule of the nation. |

Spilling righteous and innocent blood in a land without justice and vengeance by authorities leads to calamities in that land |

I hope this is not a case of getting involved with the wrong person's found rib. When they get too close and the rib takes the parish as their matrimonial home, it can lead to terrible circumstances or outcome. Let's wait for police investigations. |

It baffles me that men of God could be murdered in cold blood like this. Obviously the perpetrators are members of his parish, occupying positions in the church,as church committee members, Synod members and what have you. They are not from outside the church. Today, church members commit far worse and more despicable sins than anyone else. But the question is, What could have led to the assassination of the priest? God will never allow His Faithful Servants fall to the sword of evil ones, and His Word in Psalms 91 and 121 testify to that. Did this priest engage in clandestine business within this parish and when things went south, they decided to eliminate him? No one knows but one thing is sure. These days, priests and pastors can no longer be vouched for, because they often cover deep, dark secrets completely unbecoming of their status. |

Saturnalia:Just like we also warned you people when you were accommodating Fulanis and you claimed we are enemies of Nigeria, now look at what is happening in Kwara State? Most local government has been shut down just because of your association with bandits. We are not even talking about the Obas killed last year in Ekiti at same time and day. Please learn to put your mouth on your problem first before advising your neighbor. 🙏🙏🙏

JASONjnr:Comments like this...resembling those Reno Omokri often parrot about...baffles me. Are you saying that SouthEasterners don't talk about the Kidnappings by Fulani Herdsmen or locals in their region? They don't talk about the activities of (Un)Known gunmen?Armed robbers?Or assassins? If they dont ,how do they raise the alarm and create awareness so that the Federal government can live up to their responsibilities? Why do you think they should stay silent and be destroyed by insecurities? How does such thoughts and suppositions ever make sense to you? No persons with fully functional brains should think like this...except the person just wants to be mischievous not minding if they appear silly or not. And how did you get on-the-spot account and pictures above? Was it a non-Igbo that reported it from source? Make una dey respect una age sometimes, abeg |
