You may be right, but that their strategy might eventually backfire, because the state of Israel seems not to care what the world think of them anymore.

There's no strategy. Even if Hamas murders their own civilians on live television they will still be supported. Global Muslim brotherhood influence runs deep. Facts and truth has no meaning in today's media. They(antisemites) are just looking for excuses to attack Israel.

Israel is morally justified and will continue to do what they are doing without feeling any guilt... Understand that UN is not holding Hamas to account for taking Israeli hostages and you think there israeli gives a rat ass what anybody thinks or says ......let me remind you that the Roman empire in 300 BC recognized the region as Hebrew territory with a king called Herod who built the temple in Jerusalem. The Arabs came to the region by force of war many many centuries later and are now claiming ownership. The Hebrew are only taking back what is rightfully theirs. Arabs like the Fulani and ruthlessly lusty after territory and are rea ready to do whatever I takes to have absolute and total ownership of wherever they said their interest with out payin for it.... And will stop at nothing to rewrite history, erasing whatever remains of the original owners take a look at North Africa Tunisia Morocco Algeria Libya including Egypt where all inhabited by indigenous black Africans but now you cannot even believe that it has not always been Arab land as the originals have been eliminated and expungd from the memory of History. The same Faith be fell Turkey.
Right now in Nigeria as we speak ilorin is a case in point.
The world had better wake up to realize that the Israeli will not allow political correctness a front burner in matters of their survival. Pretend not to care about Israeli hostages and Israeli will not care about the gazans who celebrated the killing and kidnapping of israelis October 7 2023.
Hamas is Gaza and Gaza is Hamas. Israel is dealing with Gaza in an effort to get back her kidnapped citizens and secure her safety going forward.

Whatever strategy hamas thought they used has already backfired...They have lost gaza forever, settlement is been expanded in Judea and samaria...all the talk of recognition is simply audio and can never take hold...they themselves know it...the western leaders doing the recognition are simply afraid of huge Arab immigrants they allowed in and don't be surprised that in time to come war would breakout to clean the mess the politicians brought upon their countries....!

Some comments are just childish. 😅

I know we equate "bashing" as akin to having some sort of victory over your opponent in Nigeria but this is not the same internationally.

The only thing that will give Hamas or even Ukraine victory is having a superior force. Otherwise all annexed lands will remain annexed amidst the bashings.

The whole Of Gaza have been rigged by Hamas, so bad that they can pop out of the ground anywhere they wish to attack. Mind you Hamas currently have no leadership structure and now running mad.
