He is right.

EVs are built with sealed parts that make them water-resistant and help protect key components. However, just like conventional cars, being submerged in floodwater can cause serious damage.
Nigerians are very funny people

So EV manufacturers didn't think about flood when designing battery positions and sealing it?

Na us be the first person wey think am out.

Any water that an EV cannot pass, your Sedan cannot pass it. It's simple

Infact d EV is better suited for flood than ICE cause ingestion of water into engine isn't possible in EV unlike in ICE which is a HUGE advantage

donbrowser was soo happy his uncle won, he was promoted 3 times in his office under a year, he is balling and living the life . . .

dapotemi was raising hand doing the '4 + 4' sign for us here, going on business trips every month and enjoying his giant fat salary . . .

Other APC/jagaban enthusiasts (like Yeyegbami) are also laying low, counting their gains and hoping for the best . . .

Until next year when the 20% (and other allied) Tax Reforms hits us hard and the entire country gets charged up once more cool

I will be here to talk when that time reaches . . . Can't speak for the other names mentioned above seeing as they are already MIA at this midpoint in their emilokan's reign

We will all be alright
I just got back from one of such trip! I was on an evening flight to Lagos from PH yesterday. Funny thing is an eviction notice was waiting for me at home, I received a 150% rent increase from oga landlord which I won't comply and perhaps he sense that and immediately followed it up with a quit notice....The truth is, everybody dey feel am, unless you're not being honest with yourself. Though things fit soft for ur side, but the number of people that this economy has thrown into deeper poverty is staggering. The number of people asking me for aid has quadrupled! So in the real sense, nobody is escaping the menace. It will be foolhardy to think that one human messiah is coming to save you! Nig politicians are all the same, ALL of them! Instead of ruminating on who will do it better or who's got the better opinion, I'll rather focus on the one who has promised a better, just and egalitarian society, JEHOVAH is his name! So if you ask how have been coping, I'll say na God!

wow! Like WOW! dapotemi for real I never expected you to post these comments concerning my mention today. You've thrown me off guard and my admiration for you has been topped up a notch.

I consider a 'learned' person one who can Learn, Unlearn & Relearn and you sir, have shown me that you can indeed own up to mistakes as a responsible and educated adult. I know it isn't easy and i must commend you for such a character trait.

I won't drag you concerning your political choice again. You're good.

Water ingress into the inner chambers of an EV will spell 100% doom for the vehicle and can even trigger an electrocution to the occupants. So with such knowledge in mind the engineers have made it so that it is over 1000% harder for moisture to penetrate the inner workings of an EV as compared to a regular ICE vehicle.

Remember that if water gets into an ICE just leave it to dry completely and you are most likely to have a 90% working ride unlike an EV that will be 90% damaged with just a little splash getting into the wrong place.

That was what XGhost meant by the wording on his post which you both responded to. You didn't comprehend him at all or you're sincerely ignorant of what I just intimated you with above concerning moisture and the various vehicle technologies we have in the market today.

We all make mistakes, learning from them is key.

Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 7:25pm On Sep 23, 2025
This is when to call out LASTMA.
The silly thing that causes the traffic is so sad. A small truck fell at the exit road to enter Marwa since 8am this morning, they couldn't find a way to move it till closing hour when traffic built up.

Their own is to be looking for who enter one way.

Avoid going to lekki Right now.

If you're inside, except you don't want to return to lekki, don't take a trip to VI or Anywhere, as for me, I got a 17k from jakande to Ecobank Vi, that's enough for today

See you in Lekki tomorrow

Corolla doesn't just breakdown. Maybe na fuel finish. Before Corolla will breakdown cos of water or overheating in traffic, u would see many benz, Lexus, Honda, kia and hyindai too. Infact all cars except trucks will also breakdown
