Make una sha get ladder if na high-rise you de work. Cause if the fire reach the stair wells, it will be almost impossible to get out. Shame on the fire service. This is pathetic. I hope the incident will be probed and investigated by LASG plus the owners of the building arrested for not even having extinguisher.

Stay there till e reach time when na to shout be the only option. Rope ladder de. If every floor keep one, e go reach everybody. This was only 6 stories which is extremely annoying.

Truth be told,none of them deserved it..

The fact that no one died of fire burning showed there's poor safety orientation in that place! In short zero safety culture! Recently there was fire somewhere around a machinery and I saw staff shouting and can't use fire extinguisher!!

Then Nigerian youth should take exercise seriously! Haba how can over 10 ppl dies of smoke inhalation and they couldn't be rescued !!

God! I wasn't aware of this incident until yesterday.

The United Capital Group just moved to another office a building away from this one a day before this incident happened. I guess some offices and officers haven't moved fully.

Only a while back, around July precisely, I had dealings with some of these people. We were going back and forth on how much they'd pay to feature in my event, on the program pamphlet and a slot for speaking to the audience...My Gosh! The transient nature of life! We should all thred cautiously cause tomorrow is not promised to anyone.

May God comfort the bereaved families.

How do you know their is no extinguisher? Not every fire extinguisher 🧯 can handle. In that building, their is even stationed trained safety officers.
