Go to Ukwa east in Abia state and see how Igbos are being marginalized and treated by thesame Igbo leaders.
Nobody is after Igbos, most of us are angry at Igbos and Yorubas because u people come online and start eulogizing politicians from ur own tribe and talk down on others.

So what is this article and many other articles about? the country is already destabilized from its foundation, you think you have a country but you don't, just take a look at all the people who have been attacking you about the tax article you wrote, they come from just one section of the country.

Then look at this thread and all those supporting Wike, they all come from one section of the country, its an ideology.

Then you talk about Igbos, yes there are Igbo leaders who are sellouts that's why someone like MNK has more supporters than any Igbo leader alive today(even Peter Obi).

So you should know that most Igbos are not in support in whatever you are seeing happening.

lastly I don't just support any politician and no one is calling Peter Obi a saint and others devils because of tribe, there are politicians from even Yoruba tribe I hold in high esteem and would love they rule Nigeria, I supported Buhari in 2015 with the conviction he was coming to fix Nigeria but after a year plus I knew better.

There is something I told someone here recently, the crop of politicians we have today who are trying to rule are not the best Nigeria has to offer but they are in a class, these are the politicians available now, and just like every other class there must be a best among them, and that's where I pick Peter Obi.

If someone like Osinbajo, Ambode, Donald Duke comes out with for presidency with Peter Obi then my attention will change and I will have to start accessing them from records and debates to pick a choice, this has nothing to do with tribe, I believe in starting from somewhere and keep refining leadership over time, the idea that all politicians are the same is a fallacy and that fallacy is what gives justification to people choosing any devil from either their tribe or religion, that was what mainly made Buhari and Tinubu president and we can see the result today.

Tiny details that still separate these politicians from each other is thrown away to justify their support, Me personally I just want a country that works but you see these guys they just want bragging rights and revenge then mock others, it's like Arsenal vs Man-U to them.

Just like the OP said, it is sports to them.

When you have people like this in large number from certain regions who make up voting blocks then you know you have a bigger problem than the person who is even president because the president is just a product of those people, he will come and go but these people will be there and might keep repeating such presidents using their numbers.

Lol. Again, it is that sense of entitlement, based on nothing at all, and delusions of grandeur that makes them believe, without any justification whatsoever, they are superior to all other.

All the above of course leads them to over-estimate their worth to others and to society at large. They always assume they are better than all other Nigerians they create derogatory and offensive labels for.

The above then leads them to experience avoidable, bitter and painful losses, in politics for example, when others they underestimate go on to best them. They will then spin such losses as "marginalisation".

Whereas others were far better and more capable than them to begin with meaning, predictably, it is only their inability to give credit to those such is due to that always leaves them on the losing end.

Their cry of marginalisation persist historically because, unlike most others, they never learn from their mistake and instead have the mindset others are always wrong and they are right plus "marginalised victims".
