French President Macron walks NYC street after President Trump denied him convoy access. New York, September 23, 2025 – In a surprising diplomatic incident, French President Emmanuel Macron’s vehicle was halted by New York City police on Monday due to a street closure for U.S. President Donald Trump’s convoy. The encounter, which unfolded in Manhattan during a high-profile visit for UNGA 2025, escalated when Macron reportedly called President Trump to request passage, only to be told to “walk instead” in a humiliating exchange, according to sources close to the matter. The incident occurred as Macron was en route to a meeting of the United Nations General Assembly UNGA 2025. NYPD officers, managing traffic for Trump’s motorcade, informed Macron’s security detail that the street was temporarily closed. With time-sensitive engagements, President Macron allegedly reached out directly to President Trump, seeking clearance to proceed. Trump, known for his brash style, reportedly dismissed the request, telling Macron to “get out and walk like everyone else.” In an unexpected move, Macron complied, exiting his vehicle and walking several blocks to his destination, flanked by his security team. Onlookers captured the moment on social media, with videos showing the French president navigating crowded sidewalks, sparking a mix of amusement and criticism online. https://iexclusivenews.com.ng/macron-walks-nyc-after-trump-block-2025/

If this happened in Nigeria, Peter Obi and all his supporters would have made it look like heaven is about to fall in Nigeria. Obi would have tweeted that Nigeria is completely destroyed and then proceeded to call on United Nations, World Bank, ICC, IMF, WTO, UK govt etc to come and rescue Nigeria’s democracy. |

Trump is definitely sick in the head He is only pained because macron chooses to serve humanity over genocide. The hypocrisy and double standards of the United States has been exposed, thanks to the government of the UK, France and Canada The Palestinian nation shall become a reality |

seunmsg:Obi would have shouted " Nigeria is finished", " democracy is dead". Atiku would have shouted " Nigeria in full dictatorship", blablabla. This is Trump blocking a President of another country. Anyways, I love how Macron rubbed it in his face by recognizing the Palestinian state right there at the UN. |

Propaganda. He chose to walk. Nothing like because of trump. It's funny how Macron plays his politics. All of us know how security details work. |

Softmirror:I don't understand. Do you mean people who supported political assassination or what?. I understand Charlie Kirk assassination is very important in USA current politics but I doubt that was why Macron walked the streets of New York |

| Re: Macron Walks NYC Streets After Trump Blocks Convoy Access by Softmirror: 6:20pm On Sep 23, 2025 |
Scholes007:Charlie supported gun possession by Americans as a right to even start with if the perspective of him being assassinated by a bullet is your view. Of course people are being fired from work for expressing their views. That is what it is. |

Kukutente23:This one is always on the wrong side of history . Support beerfravd in Nigeria and rally against Palestinian elsewhere . Even God doesn’t support hypocrites. Thank God your likes are powerless in Nigeria . If Palestine is audio , then what do we call beerfrauvd |

yarimo:This is exactly why hatred spreads. You are insinuating that anything Peter Obi is comparable to bitterness. It's either you are very diabolical person or outright ignorant. |

Trump is absolutely not only sick but suffering from delirium. He treats and condescend people especially his allies like slaves. There is no excuse whatsoever that visiting presidents should be treated like ordinary citizens in US because the US is having the opportunity to have the UN headquarters in New York. That is not only absurd but impulsive and insensitive. |

Softmirror:I may not be a fan of the American 2nd amendment law but I sure know he has his own right to support that just like other Americans who support gun right. Kirk assassination should not be condoned in any form period. |

Scholes007:So?! Should anybody be punished for saying he was killed by the gun he supported?! Don't people have the right to express such view. It would have been a different expression if he was like you that is not a fan of America's 2nd amendment law. |

Softmirror:The issue is moral now. We understand reasons by pro-gun right advocates and reasons for anti-gun right advocates, both are open to debate. But advocating for the death of a person because he supports gun rights is not right and cannot be condoned. |
| Re: Macron Walks NYC Streets After Trump Blocks Convoy Access by Softmirror: 6:52pm On Sep 23, 2025 |
Scholes007:Advocating?! Infact the more reason I had to use your own opinion with regards the America's 2nd amendment law as the bases of the moral you want to justify. |
| Re: Macron Walks NYC Streets After Trump Blocks Convoy Access by Scholes007(m): 6:58pm On Sep 23, 2025 |
Softmirror:Like I said earlier, I don't support gun right in America or anywhere in the world. If you read about American history you will understand why they made the 2nd amendment. The issue is not about if we support gun right or not, it's now; "should someone be killed because of his opinion?". Charlie had other opinions which someone may argue was why he was killed. He was pro live, anti LGBTQ etc |
