Sumy region is a Ukrainian region. Russia has never and does not plan to occupy it. They just bomb it once in a while being that Ukranian troops who cross into the border regions retreat to Sumy after their adventures.

Russia has as many aircrafts as the US. The 2 most produced helicopters in the world are Russian.

A huge portion of US aircrafts are made by others, unlike Russia that produces theirs. Many US aircrafts are joint manufactured with France, UK, Netherlands and several other EU countries, so they do not 100% belong to the US.

Majority of commercial, private and cargo aircrafts parked in US airports belong to foreign airlines. Or do you wanna start counting Qatar Airlines airplanes parked in US airports as US airplanes?

From commercial planes to cargo planes to private planes of private foreign individuals.

It seems you overestimate Russian production and manufacturing capabilities. Are you aware that most of the the navigation electronics for ordinary Saheed Drones are imported from China? Russia in 2025 mostly produced at 65nm and 90nm semiconductor chip nodes whereas US, South Korea and Taiwan are producing at 2nm. Why don't you just confirm by your self. The gap is staggering.

I'm not surprised you think it's theirs, like every other thing, the US likes to claim other people's inventions.

2nm chips are produced by ASML of Netherlands and TSMC of Taiwan.

The US is just the financiers. They don't have the technical knowledge or machines to build it. Trump once threatened Taiwan to relocate the chip building machines to the US but they rejected it.

At least Russia is making theirs all by themselves, without external input.

All US aircrafts are jointly manufactured with at least a dozen countries, even F-35's and F-22.

The US is nothing without its allies. They couldn't even invade the poorest country in the world Afghanistan without all NATO members joining them. Shame!!

As for Sumy. The Russians never sent an invasion force to Sumy, just a few reconnaissance units to help direct airstrikes and then they left.

Sumy is a really small territory, if Russia really wants it, they'll get it. It's not even as fortified as Bakhmut.

Is Afghanistan more powerful than Ukraine? Yet if took the US 20 years to lose and retreat from it. Even though they went in with nearly the whole world.

You forget that Allies are assets just as money is assets. This is why Russia has to rush to China and North Korea to avoid the looming embarrassment coming to them from Ukraine.
