WriteerNg:Whatever it is that gives you PTSD whenever Russia is thrown in the mud.......... Spin your fairy tale anyhow you like it, it doesn't change the facts. USSR spent almost 10 years in Afghanistan with over 600k casualties US spent about 15 years in the same Afghanistan with less than 100k casualties with most of them even of the Afghan National Army. Go and argue with Wikipedia!! More than 10 sources have been used to prove you wrong, you are here toiling for Boda Pootin who doesn't even know of your eksistens. |

amadivvv:Shameless. The Soviet fought the Mujahideen, not the Taliban. The former is the embodiment of Afghan resistance consisting of numerous tribal guerrilla groups. The latter is a religious fundamentalist group that broke out into popularity after a fallout with other groups that made up the former. Get your facts right. The so-called world superpower could not defeat one breakout group of the Mujahideen despite all the allies that fought alongside her and the trillions of dollars spent for 20 years. Simple facts: the Soviet withdrawal was orderly. The last Soviet soldier left Afghanistan on February 15, 1989. The pro-Soviet Afghan government of Mohammad Najibullah held on to power until April 16, 1992. A massive three years after. It even outlast the USSR. It collapsed only after the pro-Western Yeltsin government recognized the Najibullah regime as extremist and imposed heavy sanctions on it, including a ban on the supply of weapons, fuel and even medicines. in sharp contrast, the US withdrawal was chaotic. About 10 US soldiers were killed the very day the US was running out of the country like a rat chased by a cat. The pro-American puppet government crumbled that same day. It didn't even last half a day. The pro-US president escapes before the last Americans left Kabul in a helicopter full of money. US soldiers at the airport shot at their Afghan collaborators who were trying to board the plane and escape the rampaging Taliban. People cling to the landing gear of American transport planes taking off and fall to the ground. And you have the audacity to compare? ![]() If comparisons are a basis, the events of Kabul 2021 should make Saigon 1975 an 'orderly' withdrawal. ![]() |

WriteerNg:Funny how our friends here are supporting Russia illegal annexation of Ukraine sovereign lands while clamouring for a Palestine state in the middle-east If Russia a more powerful entity than Ukraine can take Ukraine’s sovereign lands by force illegally by international law standards. I wonder what gives some fellas hope that Israel will hand over lands for the purposes of creating a fictional Palestine state one oga don talk say na till next year UNGA!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 |

Zelensky on why Putin is absent from the UN Security Council high-level meeting on Ukraine: "The representative of Russia is present here, but of course not the one who makes the real decisions. That person is afraid to sit face-to-face with Ukraine and the world and to openly admit that he seeks only war." - Zelensky stated. Zelensky no rate this Pootin at all. |
