This is in reflection to the state of the economy - indicating the hardship Nigerians are currently going through under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu.

Am worried about how some people never create awareness of themselves. They are yet to discover who they truly are

There's not any other tribe that deal in fairly used cloths like they do, yet this one is shaming the business that feeds many of them

In Africa, that's a tradition for the second hand foreign clothes.

My own curiosity is, if we have Tailors that are sewing our native wear which they look glamorous, why can't those tailors start buying whatever materials they are using for the foreign clothes and start producing it here.

The shoe makers as well, why should we still be spending extra in getting foreign shoes when we have creative shoe makers across Nigeria?

Bro, are there second hand Nigeria native wear in foreign countries, I doubt. All those foreign used clothes and shoes we have been importing for years, why can't we be producing it here in Nigeria?

Wouldn't that be tagged as witch hunting even if it's a way to make our local tailor and shoe makers to be more creative?

This is where regional autonomy has to come in place, the SW cultured is being diluted with strange habit that is not part of us.

Until these people came to live with us was when our people started neglecting new cloths for fairly used.

Bro, it's because educational courses like vocational training center is not effective in Nigeria. If there are more tailor equiped with tailoring equipments, the price of sewing cloth will crash.

Those are the things our local representatives should be doing, the senators, HOR, HOA members

It is not the duty of "our local representatives" to create industries. Their job is to create the environment where we the people can create industries. And "our local representatives" are failing at creating that industry, though I feel Tinubu, who beat my Obi to the presidency, is trying a little bit somewhat.

Empowerment, massive one to most of the industries. Nigerians are creative, just the opportunities are not there. The monthly constituency allowance they are receiving can be doing that.

When the really creative ones that are skillful enough to make competing quality nack you bill eh, you go run go buy the one wey Hilary Thomas dash salvation army 😂.


Our top talents in these fields are unreachable by minimum wage population.

I think we should empower ourselves. And that starts by us organising ourselves, as there is power in numbers. Instead we are divided and weak and powerless.

Corruption, greediness, favouritism won't also allow the @ emboldened to work. The small group members leaders/ family heads, how have they been performing.

If the individual mentality of making the difference is there, you don't even need to be elected into any political position before contributing your individual quarter towards the development of Nigeria.

most of those used cloths are for donations to the homeless or people with special needs, some flick just package it and send them down to Africa to sell. All those cloths are for donations.

Some western world citizens buy used clothes too so no big deal, there are lots of thrift stores where they sell used clothes and shoes.
