Comparing Gov. Uba Sani’s two years to El-Rufai’s eight is a misplaced and unfair debate. Leadership should be judged within proper context, not on rushed timelines. Uba Sani inherited fresh challenges and is tackling them with inclusiveness and reforms that are already transforming lives.

Ironically, this comparison diminishes El-Rufai’s tenure. If Uba Sani’s short tenure so far can already be measured beside his eight years, what does that say? The real question is how much more Kaduna will achieve when Gov. Uba Sani completes his own eight years.

What type of hypocritical submission is this. Take it or leave El- Rufai is one of best governor Kaduna State had produced in recent time. His shortcoming, perhaps is the way he handles the issue of diversity without applying emotional intelligence and the southern Kaduna questions.

They are feeling the heat already. Uba Sani thinks he can govern Kaduna using PR and buying out all hitherto fierce critics. So many groundbreaking with nothing to show. Non-payment of minimum wage. Even the 300-bed hospital that Elrufai nearly completed that he brought Tinubu to commission is lying comatose with all the rented ambulances and equipment returned.

Elrufai used his first year in office to carry out reforms including establishing so many state agencies like Kadgis, Kastlea, Kadirs, etc amid bold reforms in education and healthcare. The second tenure was for massive infrastructural development. Uba Sani is mediocre and is taking the state backwards.
