Hey there! I’ve created this thread today with the sole aim of providing enlightenment on the types of lubricants we use for our cars—whether for the engine, transmission, or even the differential (when applicable). It’s quite simple: • State the make, model, year, and trim. • Provide the oil grade (e.g., 5W-30) and brand you currently use for maintenance. • If you’ve noticed any pros or cons, briefly explain them. This way, we can guide even new car owners on the right fluids to use and also correct those who may be using the wrong ones. |

I’ll give a sample - I use a 2018 Toyota Highlander platinum, V6 - I use Liquimoly 5w20 ( sometimes 5w30 ) - pros Not has common as other brands, so fakes are not as much Cons- it quite pricy, because I’ll need Two 5L gallons ( it’s a V6 that why ) Other wise it does a good Job cleaning the engine. ( Ps; Just a sample ) |

Visco 2000 20w-50 I also heard the shell helix brand is good. But I personally recommend Visco 2000 |
