And what's your purpose for posting this?

Do you make this every time or you just rushed to post yesterday's earnings because it surged?

This is becoming childish and a threat to other people who don't do this job on a full time basis.

You guys should stop already. I hope you post the days you spend hours at Ladipo and your mechanic workshop spending thousands of naira to fix your car.

For your information, this work is still a hard work that comes with body pains and high risk. There are softer works that pay better with more dignity.

Before I answer that, are you a graduate?

Because if you are, you'll know that there are some office works that their yearly bonuses will rival whatever you make in 6 months and they don't need to struggle under sun and rain.

Allow the man post what he wants to post and boast as he feels or hype what he likes undecided

It has NO SINGLE EFFECT on you or your life than maybe making you feel either insecure, jealous and lazy.

Is that how you currently feel after seeing his post up there? If so I believe you should just work harder and earn better for yourself instead of trying to shoot him down from his 'happy place'

In ehailing the sky is big enough for all birds to fly meanwhile in the labor market we are still waiting for the government to create more jobs to accommodate just below 20% of our current unemployed labor force. You think getting a job is beans? even 1st class graduates will find it hard because of nepotism and 'man - know - man

If you feel comfortable going out to net 40k and the next man feels glad going out to net 100k . . . Why tell him to cover his mouth when he's gleeful? He deserves a pat on the back isn't it? After all if you're applying for a job or contract wouldn't you wish to find out your salary/payment package beforehand?

You guys should stop talking down at peeps who post their dashboards here, if you won't like to post yours (for whatever reason you can conjure up) then stay back and allow those without such 'fears' to post theirs undecided

In this life it's good to mostly COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS because problems come to us all wether you want it or not undecided

Good morning people 🤗 happy weekend to us all

My brother, you really helped me reply this guy and there's nothing much for me to add.

I didn't post to put any other person in pressure but to encourage anyone who needs it.

To make that dashboard, I did 16 trips that day running the whole of lekki. So, I'm not saying it's easy, I'm just saying with hard work, we can stay levelled up.

On a daily basis, we encounter different kind of people, the Polite, Rude, wicked and uncultured people, but I'm never moved because I'm just all out for my daily bread and to feed my family.

I am not here to boast, I'm a just encouraging like I got some encouragement to start when I wanted to few months ago.

Tell me how many professionals post their salaries online at the end of the month.

The problem with ehailing is that it's unregulated. If you must know, there are drivers that earned more than his earnings, drivers whose yesterday's earnings will dwarf his screenshot.

I see it as being simple minded. Getting blown away over meagre earning that one case of a wrong turn to a one way lane will wipe away.

Bro, can you succinctly explain to me exactly how the bolded above actually concerns YOU YOURSELF as an individual? That his profits get 'blown away' (according to you) has absolutely no effect on your own life and livelihood so why bother? 🤷🏾‍♂️

It's very sad to see. It's actually one of the major reasons why this thread was almost rendered comatose a few years ago (by some like minded individuals) and is only picking up speed now undecided

If they feel like salary work is the 'all & all's then why don't they drop key and go out there to seek their dream jobs and allow those who feel like running upandan Lagos enjoy their own choices? cry

I feel it's witchcraft, always has and always will be BUT WHAT DO I KNOW

I don't even see the blessing anymore these are the reason why more government agencies are now interested in it.

There's Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, Snapchat etc I see enough screenshots of dashboards shared there as well, curiously nobody seems to be advocating for those ones to stop sharing dashboards on their platforms.

I wonder, can't the same government you are so morbidly afraid of get their information through those channels too? Or does nairaland now have the UPDATED NATIONAL REALTIME INFO on ehailing to the extent that Transportation and Finance ministers are studiously monitoring THIS PARTICULAR THREAD DAILY waiting to see your happy dashboards before they take whatever action they want to against you or the ehailing companies?

To think some people actually believe this stuff till today makes me sad. This same 'months long' partially comatose nairaland Uber thread?

Brother, I know you're a newbie and you're excited. We are happy for you. Don't mind what some people would say. Just know that you should focus on the business, save up and exit on time.

Any milestones you complete on the business you can update us here. It shows the info and teachings you're receiving here isn't going to waste. I commend you for that. Well done.

It does.

This plenty papers that they're requesting from drivers is as a result of these screenshots.

During those dry times that there were no surge and request was scarce, nobody posted screenshots

You should argue logically. Bad belle as per I don't own a car or I don't have access to the same trips that you do?

You'll can do you. But just know that the screenshots you post here or anywhere else is the reason they're targeting drivers now.

You all claim it's a motivation but I see it as false hope and deception.

It's been raining for some days now and there are surges here and there, and thus, the reason for the increased earnings.

Post your earnings on a normal day let's see how much strength you get to net 80k per day consistently.

Please brothers I'm a bolt driver based In the east.but to be frank the job here is not giving joy atol as many people here prefer Keke and shuttle bus.
Most times you only see one ride a whole day.
So for this reason I'm contemplating on moving to Lagos but the problem is I don't know Lagos road well.
Please can I cope doing this job in Lagos with just the use of maps??
And how about these lasma and them road safety peoplehuh Do they make the job hell for drivers or I'm I just being paranoid.
Again where in Lagos can I start with as a new comer??
