It’s common among I made it fraudsters to degrade others as broke especially those who are starting humbly to financial independence and those who started small and follow primary stages to career breakthrough. Some of the many stupid reasons why fraudsters, drug peddlers and sex workers give as why they engage in what they do is that they cannot work for any government or another person and wait at the end of the month to collect one salary. To them those that do that are either fools or broke. |

Everything bad is termed Yahoo in this part of the world. It is not a good tag to have. Our society worship mammon. Forgetting that he only gives Greek gift; give with the right hand, takes double with the left. To that legit hustler, keep doing what you are doing life! Wait on God's time, cos his blessings added no sorrow. |

It's a coping mechanism for them shaming people... Since their conscience is biting them that the recompense of their action is imminent. So they shame others to make others feel bad... Just as they also regretting their actions |

When a society worships money, that's what you get. |

Bro. Your words are a piercing light in a world often clouded by the haze of superficial flexing, honestly, they carry a weight that lingers in the soul. You’ve done more than spark a debate, you’ve laid bare a wound in Nigeria’s youth culture, where the honest grind is too often mocked by those who have traded integrity for the fleeting shimmer of fraud. This isn’t just about Yahoo boys or some cheap thinkers who believes in the fish eats fish to survive devilish mentality. flaunting ill-gotten cursed riches; it’s about the deeper erosion of values, the quiet violence of a society that sometimes celebrates the shortcut over the real struggle. Your post, raw and unapologetic, feels like a stand for everyone who’s ever felt diminished for choosing the longer, harder road. The pain you’re addressing runs deep. It’s in the young hustler who works tirelessly but feels invisible next to the fraudsters cursed Benz. It’s in the pressure to conform to a warped definition of success, where cursed riches however it’s achieved becomes a yardstick for worth, a yardstick for value, a yardstick for acceptance among certain group or cults. When you say, “Shine, but don’t dim nobody else’s light,” you’re not just calling for fairness; you’re reclaiming the dignity of those who grind with honor. That line is a philosophy, a moral compass in a world that sometimes loses its way. It’s a reminder that true radiance doesn’t need to cast others into shadows. The reactions to your post, angry, reflective, passionate, shows how you’ve tapped into a collective frustration. People are weary of a culture that glorifies fraudsters, thieves, and politicians that robs people of their rights while sidelining the resilience of those who build their lives brick by honest brick Deep respect. 🙏 |

ZombieDredd:Will they ever believe? People whose worldview and rationale for doing scam and ritual is saying and believing politicians do same, and thinking politicians who do same don't seem to receive repercussion. Na the motivation be that most time..... Meanwhile, repercussion is the surest thing in life. .. And can come in any form. |

I don't know that Augustus that condemn, rebuke and reprehensively spoke down on Yahoo boys but God will bless him. These boys are ritualists, traffickers, organ harvesters and nothing less than this. And anybody including VDM that is supporting Yahoo boys indirectly is complacence to the crime. Yes these boys are not humans but satanic. |

Surprisingly many of this fraudsters and drug peddlers make motivational quotes on their walls to inspire anyone and mislead them that their wealth is legit. At the end it is all fraud they do when they are caught and jailed |

I thought about this just this morning. Why do people even rate these lowlife thieves? People that should cover their faces in shame. What a society! Poor but legitimate people are richer than these thieves. |

Very true. Nigerians worship money no matter how gotten. It shud stop. Even on nairaland, they mock u asking if ur entire lineage can be as rich as some corrupt politician or fraudster. If u work hard and smart, be proud of yourself |

Anybody who cannot explain or defend their wealth has no business calling anybody broke. However what u see is people who get their money through questionable means are the ones who call others broke. From Tupac song Changes.. You gotta operate the easy way I made a G today But ya made it in a sleazy way Sellin crack to the kids I gotta get paid Well hey well thats the way it is |
