So why are you people always mad with the Oba of Lagos and Ghana issues?

Lagos crowd too fear ... insecurity and inferiority complex is their problem
I guess "insecurity and inferiority complex" is the problem of Indians, Ghanaians, South Africans, Kenyans, Thailanders, Indonesians etal also.

You people must always find ways and utterances, denigrating of others, to make out the problem lies with them. Never you.

How many tribes that are speaking Hausa/Yoruba/Tapa/Fulani language?

How speaking Igbo language now a big deal?

The main point is you'll never hear a Yoruba disrespect his host or called their land "no man's land" or claim to be the one that "developed" it. Yorubas integrate and respects their hosts. They're grateful to the land of their host for whatever riches they are able to get there, not claiming to be better or denigrating their hosts.
but Daniel Bwala also said that Lagos is no mans land?

why is this "no mans land" not extended to Osun, oyo, ekiti, ondo or ogun states?

are there no igbos in those states?

are you from lagos state?

Dis stuff is normal... If u go to kano or sokoto, you'll see d king of Yoruba or king of d igbos... It's usually rotational, they're are like d representatives of the tribes in d land.... They don't hold any powers....

Yorubas and igbos don't have any issues and usually intermarry and trade together, not until the last election.... They started calling yorubas tribalist for voting for their choice and when we even checked the results, it is only the south west that didn't vote along ethnic lines.... They insulted ekiti people, called lagos no man land.... U guys did d same thing to the hausa/fulanis and u think d yorubas will fold their hands and allow u do d same to them.... Think again....

In your mind now, you have made a wise comment. Not at all.

No Igbo man claims Ondo, Osun, Ogbomosho, Abeokuta or Oyo as "No man's land". Igbos never claimed to develope those places. So stop jiving and called a spade by it's name. It's all about LAGOS. I am sure you are also a settler in Lagos.

As per the status of Lagos, i refer you to Alhaji Bwala. Tinubu's spokesperson.

An Interview with Oba Alhaji Abdulazeez Adebayo Olateju, The Oba Yoruba in Enugu,
Who settled in Enugu 46 years ago, in 1979

Excerpts:
Interviewer: Where are you from, sir?
Oba: I am from Ede, in Osun State.

Interviewer: You speak Igbo so fluently. Where did you learn it from?
Oba (responding in Igbo): I learned the language here in Enugu. God gave me the gift of understanding languages and the ear to hear. Many people often wonder if I was born or schooled here, but that’s not the case. I was already an adult, fully grown when I relocated to Enugu from Osun. I even voted during the era of Jim Nwobodo and later for Shehu Shagari.

Interviewer: I also learned you speak Hausa. Did you learn it here too?
Oba (replying in Hausa): Yes, I speak and understand Hausa fluently but I have never lived in the North. I picked it up here in Enugu, just by listening to people around me.

Oba: Everywhere I go in Igboland, people take me as one of their own. My grandmother who once tried to discourage me from settling here in Igboland but before she passed in 2012 was very happy and always thanking God for leading me to Igboland. I kept bringing all my relatives here and today they are all doing well because Igboland is good to us.
There is nothing like "oba Yoruba" In anywhere, not in Enugu, Not any state in Nigeria or abroad.

All Obas have a territory where they preside ceremoniously in the Yoruba land, not any other land.

Typical duplicity and facetiousness we now come to expect from you guys. You cite Bwala's past utterenace with no respect for his later clarification over that past statement .

What makes me happy is that your prejudiced, megalomaniac and compromised nature, which makes it impossible for you to see you have a problem, will never allow you have dominance over others considering that is what you people live and breathe for.

Well done omoluabi

At least he never claimed he developed IGBO LAND.

Instead of other people to claim LAGOS as been blessing to them they will rather claim they are blessings to Lagos by developing it

Correction, this is a classic case of the Yorubas enjoying peace and acceptance in Igbo land. This Yoruba man is the King of Yorubas in Enugu, no Igbo cares. But if Yorubas hear that there is a King of Igbos in Lagos or Ibadan, they will call for his arrest. To this day, I have never heard that a Yoruba man who went to Igbo land was discriminated against

But I have heard of countless cases of discrimination against Igbos in Yoruba land.

Aa I have said many times, Yorubas and Igbos have no business being together in one country
Apart from Igbos, which other tribe in yoruba land complains of discrimination?

You all give attention to this tribal bigots.

When I left banking, I handed one of my clients to a colleague (Yoruba), the customer was scared because his transactions involves bringing FX to his home and office.. So it needed trustworthy person to handle it. I had to convince my client that the guy is honest and trustworthy.
I had Igbo colleagues oo but could only trust the Yoruba guy.

While in banking, I worked under several bosses, but the best amongst them was a Yoruba lady. Infact she's the only one I still keep in touch with.

If you have worked or done business at the highest levels, you will know that nothing like tribalism exists there.

Tribal bigotry only survives and flourishes at the lowest of all the lowest level.

Present Chimaroke Nnamani and Prof Osinbajo, I will happily vote Osinbajo as my president, because like I said earlier, at the top we only consider capacity, honesty and competence, not your tribe, skin colour or language.

Yorubas have been living in Niger Republic, Ghana, Burkinafaso, Ivory Coast so many African countries since a very long time and very peaceful. Infact one thing very common is their fear to go to prison hence they hardly commit crimes.

But today, with the influx of Igbos in this countries. Sincerely speaking, just go to their prison and you will find a whole Igbo community in these countries prisons.

Take a deep breath and rest! I am Yoruba but most of my friends are Igbos, my wife is Igbo and I I trust them, we all have personal and different experiences. But talking generally and about the majority it is not always like that. The two tribes don't trust each other period! Stop talking as if Igbos are different or stands out among the two tribes.

bruh Lagos is a major city in Nigeria and is not like every other Yoruba state, you can never see an igbo man saying osun state or any other Yoruba state is a no man's land.
Lagos is like the New York of West Africa 🌍

It's just too late for all these shenanigans — far too late! If you like, you can bring out the "Oba Yoruba" of Alaigbo — it changes nothing. No Igbo person will be allowed to force themselves on us in Yorubaland. It won't happen. In every part of Yorubaland, the Igbos remain strangers — and strangers you shall remain.

Rather than softening our minds, this kind of gaslighting will only harden them further, because it clearly reveals your desperation to have a stake in our land. Oba of Enugu or no Oba, the fact remains: an Igbo person will NEVER become an indigene of any part of Yorubaland — from Lagos down to Jebba!
