All international sanctions on Iran lifted in 2015 were reinstated in the early hours of today. Iran, with the exception of the 60% enriched uranium stockpile, what did you gain from frolicking with the West to come to an "understanding"? If you like, do not acquire a bomb. The stage is set for the 12D rematch. If you don't conduct a nuclear test to put them off, they'd learn lessons from the 12D war and be even more brutal in the imminent rematch. Leaving the NPT is not enough. They'd just add that to the bundle of justifications. Test a bomb or you'll have to sacrifice thousands again in a war that does not need to happen. Stop being stubborn! They've reimposed sanctions. They killed your scientists, generals, and civilians. They're preparing to kill more within weeks if not days. There is no reason under the sun to say you'd not get a nuke when you have the ability. Heaven helps those who help themselves. -Lord |

Holla911:That's what the West hoped for. For Russia to go all in and expend all of their manpower and weapons. That would make Russia weaker and easier for NATO to come in and finish off. But Putin quickly understood their game plan and restrategized. Now, if Russia produce 50 Iskander missiles a month, they use 10 a month and save 40 for the big war with NATO. Same thing with Geran drones. They make 3000 per month, use 1000 and save 2000. Make 50 T-80 tanks, use 10 and save 40. That way they can fight for at least a decade without suffering shortage of missiles or drones. |

The European troika that activated the snapback are also demanding Iran does not retaliate by escalating. The nerve of the ๐คก๐คก๐คก They can make these demands because the mullahs are oafs. A serious country will test a bomb within weeks and wait out the 20 years until the West crawls back with a recognition that Iran is a de-facto nuclear power. At which time, the West will be even less powerful than it is now. -Lord |

WriterrNg:Shebi someone was arguing with me about delivery of the KAAN jets to Indonesia. They have an indigenous jet engine program, but that will likely not be ready this decade, because the Americans will also throw spanners in the wheels of obtaining the requisite machines and tech. A lot of these machines and tech require constant support. So you need the manufacturer or a contracted supplier to calibrate, troubleshoot, conduct maintenance, upload updates, and stuff from time to time. So its not like you can stockpile machines and parts and be good for a number of years. If the Americans tell the manufacturer to stop at any point, that adds years in delays. They needed the foreign engines to field a couple of combat-ready units and conduct requisite tests. That's halted for now. Their only alternative source for an engine is Russia. China will not share their engine to NK even. Every engine they can make for the next half a century is destined for a Chinese platform. Maybe France will hand them an engine. That's the longshot option. But even the French do not want to share tech with Germany in their joint sixth gen jet program. -Lord |

Another large attack. Over 600 drones, around 60 missiles. Zero miliary casualties. Less than 10 people killed (All civilians) Kyiv still standing. Zelensky still alive. Over 1 billion dollars burnt in a night, zero miliary objectives achieved. Somebody is hurting badly inside the Kremlin. ๐คก๐คก๐คก Meanwhile, another refinery is alight. Almost four years of war, Ukraine's energy infrastructure is not yet destroyed while cheap Russian gas is buying fuel at high prices amid high shortage. At the same time, Europe is yet to freeze to death. |

WriterrNg:Everyone has that economic attractant they use to develop relationships with other countries. For the US, it's weapons and tech. For China, it's infrastructure. For Russia, it's nuclear plants. Nuclear plants take a long time to go from conception to completion. During which time both countries are in constant communication and have a relationship of sorts. This deal with Ethiopia may not start until the 2030s. But it does mean Russia will have a back and forth with Ethiopia for the next 5 years on a mutually beneficial economic project. On the financing, Russia has almost a trillion dollars in reserve. This is how they put that money to use. They'll finance the project and Ethiopia will pay back over several decades. Again, establishing a relationship. It is just that the US places roadblocks on this type of developmental assistance. Otherwise near every rich country has plans of this nature. Nigeria currently operates something like this with Germany. Siemens is conducting an overhaul of Nigeria's transmission (it still belongs to the government). Germany is providing the financing and know how. Nigeria will repay overtime at low interest rates. This is actually how the world should work. Rich countries investing their excess into developing countries and getting repaid with interest. And as the developing economies improve and get richer, they'll buy more stuff and collaborate even more with the richer countries. It is infinitely better than sending aid. Everyone benefits. The bulk of the financing will return to the country. Russia will use Russian-manufactured parts to build the plant and bring in Russian workers. Siemens will use German parts and use well-paid German workers. But the US has devised such a system where they have to sign off on everything. So this type of developmental assistance is not as ubiquitous as it should be -Lord |
