gracealonev:What you and your region people can't do, you will always find fault. The oil and gas industry is fully deregulated. BUA refinery in akwa ibom will soon come on stream. The cabals who benefitted from subsidy who are the marketers are the ones fighting Dangote but they will surely fail. Why can't them put resources together and build a refinery if they had the interest of the country. |

nwirinedu:What manner of crap is this? Why should a union created to protect its members fight bunkering? I'm sorry but this does not make sense. That's the job of your government. On what mandate or in what capacity are they expected to do that? Omo, I don't understand some of you. |

SUPPOSE THE INFLUENTIAL TOP FUNCTIONARIES IN THE GOVERNMENT ARE NOT COMPRISED. WHY IS THE GOVERNMENT FINDING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO ARREST AND PROSECUTE THOSE WHO ARE BENT ON WEAPONIZING THEIR BUSINESS ADVANTAGE TO HOLD NIGERIANS HOSTAGE? WHY DO WE CONFER ILEGITIMATE IMMUNITY ON THOSE SITTING ON THE TRADITIONAL, RELIGIOUS, OR ECONOMIC THRONES EVEN IF THEY COMMIT SO GLARING CRIMES? NO NATION CAN PROSPER WHERE CRIMES COMMITTED BY INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE ARE CONSIDERED NO CRIMES, BUT ONLY THOSE COMMITTED BY THE ORDINARY CITIZENS ARE. NIGERIA IS SINKING IN THE MIRY CLAY OF CHAOTIC LAWLESSNESS AND NOBODY CARES! THIS IS A LEADERSHIP FAILURE THAT ULTIMATELY LEADS TO STATE FAILURE UNLESS THE TEND IS ARRESTED BY THE PRESIDENT THROUGH LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE. LAWLESSNESS IS A CULTURAL SUPERSTRUCTURE IN NIGERIA BUILT, ADORED, AND ADORNED OVER DECADES BY PRESIDING SELFISH NATIONAL LEADERS WHO BELIEVE THEY ARE SHRINES TO BE WORSHIPED BY OTHERS. AS FAITHFUL CITIZENS OF NIGERIA, WE SHOULD CONTINUE TO PRAY THAT GOD GRACE PRESIDENT TINUBU WITH THE RIGHT LEVELS OF TENACITY AND RESILIENCE TO RADICALLY STEER THE NATIONAL SHIP FROM THE OMINOUS PATH OF DESTRUCTION. |

Dangote you will loose the support of Nigerians if you don't give concessions to the Nigerian consumer, you need the Goodwill of Nigerians to thrive, and this patronage by Nigerians made you. Appreciate Nigerians with low prices and please do not sell in dollars, this is Nigeria, sell in our currency. Focus on satisfying Nigerians, your staff not unions. |

udemzyudex:Who knows? We only heard it, but we do not know if it’s existing. But that’s one part of it. Apparently PENGASSAN as a union controls those companies that deliver crude to Dangote, which is in dispute. Dangote intends to bypass PENGASSAN and deliver products to petrol stations directly. That part of the value chain is under threat by PENGASSAN, knowing that the cost of petrol to Nigerians would become further cheaper. Dangote will deliver for free. We must get out of the grip of PENGASSAN. We no longer live in the days of the public refineries. They must allow private refineries thrive and make living easier for citizens. |

Feelsgood:Yes, BUA is building a refinery in Ibeno local government area of Akwa Ibom state. It’s been going on for a while and was actually expected to kick off this year. Costing between 3.5 and 4 b dollars, it is smaller than Dangote refinery. Ask questions so that you will be properly informed. |

ElevationD:Is it the Akwa Ibom I live in? Eket to be precise... you guys who don't know things on ground will just swallow everything you're fed with. Now. I ask you again...show photos to prove your assertion that BUA is almost completed and about to come on stream. Be talking nonsense as if you're on ground here in Akwa Ibom |

You are not wise.. now if you use "government support" as a yard stick.. please highlight any of the richest people in Nigeria doing business that has not benefited from the government..Innoson, Otedola, Folorunsho..mention one. some of you people way of thinking is amazing..so what is then key responsibility of government if it is not to support businesses. After all how many jobs can government provide now if you think again that because of this benefits then he is doing you or Nigerians a favour then, you are joking...$20 billion in the economy of ghana or south africa would have yielded much profit plus peace of mind.. some of you complain that there is no FDI in Nigeria, businesses are dying, etc..the few ones that are managing such harsh environment, you use emotions to encourage them to die. FYI.. Dangote's investment in Nigeria is in dollars... the loans he took were mostly in dollars, investors are capitalizing on the dollar value of their investment.. so you can't expect him to sell in naira if he doesn't get a guarantee from the government for getting a dollar equivalent through what ever policy.. someone is importing Crude oil in dollars because IOCs in Nigeria don't want to sell to him in Naira..so you want him to refine the crude and sell in naira?? Emirate Air left Nigeria when they had so much money in naira trapped in Nigeria and they couldn't recoup due to Forex issues ..obviously naira is useless in global trade..you want to call emirate air greedy or cabals?? you can continue to frustrate the biggest investment in this country since 1999 and tomorrow remain shocked why FDI or even investment from Nigerians remain stunted.. can your fellow Nigerians be as competent as they are? even government will never award key infrastructure project to a Nigerian company, you think Government no wise,... all the major seaport, gas plant, roads, bridges ..go and find out who built them.. the same national assembly where your lawmakers seat was built and is still being maintained by Germans through Julius Berger. the 4 NNPC refineries that most of the workers are Nigerians..is it working today.. you are yet to understand your race,. frog12: |

udemzyudex:Let’s take him by his word. Whether he delivers free or not, it is much better than allowing the tanker drivers deliver, while holding the nation to ransom at every opportunity. By the way, even if he charges to deliver, it will be at the same cost charge by tanker drivers. You Dangote is able to deal with unionism in his organization, then Nigerians can have some peace. |

Feelsgood:Only lazy and broke youths talk this way. That’s how some of you doubted Dangote until production started. You are in Akwa Ibom, yet you are not updated. I have to make the wahala of researching for you. I previously mentioned the location, crept that you want me to give you transport fare. Now doubting Thomas, I have to provide you with pictures. No wake up. Go through BUA information daily and find out. Maybe you think Rabiu is one of those who would make false claims about his organization. No be only pictures wey I go give you, I go even give you photographer and camera join. https://energyinafrica.com/news/our-refinery-not-yet-at-90-completion-bua-group-refutes-claim/ https://www.vanguardngr.com/2025/01/we-havent-reached-90-completion-bua-refinery/#google_vignette |

ElevationD:You're still yapping without photos of the refinery. I knew you'll post those online pictures 😆 that shows containers and portacabins and a few installations. And yo think this same project actually kicked off before NLNG Train 7 project...Train 7 is almost done and BUA is still crawling. You show old pictures of 2 years back in 2025 to me. Next time, before you open your mouth to talk about something you have no full grasp on...ask people on ground... and not run online to gather old pictures as proof of your fallacy. |
