Also to be fair to muslims, it's the family that chooses for young girls, not them empowering and celebrating her to make that choice for herself at that age.

It is 18years, no civilised country or people will put age of consent at 7, it is Arabs that do such youngins.
Their incapacity is written into the statute—hence the term, "statutory" rape. In Delaware, the age of consent is 18. Having a sexual relationship with a minor can result in serious felony charges.
