Who will see all the nonsense Dangote is going theough and invest his money to build another refinery to compete with Dangote?

Curious345:
I want to ask three questions
1) did pengassan or dapman borrow dangote money to build his refinery.

2) did dangote enter into any alliance or partnership with these two unions to run his refinery?

3) does the Nigerian labor law allow unions to bully entrepreneurs who willingly invest their hard earned money in business ventures

Exactly, the Malta cartel are using every means to frustrate Dangote
This will further drive away other investors from building another refinery, so they are indirectly causing monopoly

Dangote wawa man.. you'll learn the hard way.
Nigeria is bigger than you, not the other way round.

Unions form integral part of Labour negotiations and are constitutionally legal in Nigeria. Go anywhere, you'll get the same response.
So, with this nonsense others will come and invest to build a refinery abi? You are just doing what will make Dangote to continue to remain the only refinery. Dey play.

They will hire people who will replace them and make sure it doesn't happen again.

Last time, Pengassan president was lamenting seriously that oil companies no longer hire Nigerians, this is the kind of sabotage they want to avoid if this is true.
Nigerians are too corrupt and evil minded. The only kind of people that when I employ them, they will sabotage your business in the name of chua chua
Re: PENGASSAN Has Shut Down The Dangote Refinery Plant. by iukpe: 1:18am On Sep 29, 2025
Pengassan did not go on strike over high prices of petrol products which has made life unaffordable for many Nigerians. They didn't go on strike over bad governance or the obvious swap of election results or the lack of focus of the current government over a Nigerian project. No strike over insecurity or prices of air fares that has denied many Nigerians the pleasure of flying.
Selfish union selfish government.
It's all about people in government who want to keep milking the people.

Beautiful 😍 You👍
The so called Unions, will tell you, they are protecting the 'Interest of their Members 'and you need to ask further, what about the Interest of Nigerians in General?
How can a Union that has not built one thing than calling and forcing Membership on Dangote Refinery now wants to go on Strike -the same Old Weapons they have been using for too long in NNPC and other Public Institutions - just to harmsrong and Cripple the Systems in Nigeria,as a Nation?

Pengassan want to monopolized unionism in petroleum and Gas sector. We need more union to checkmate pengassan excesses.

What they are accusing Dangote of trying to do, now they are doing it ahead of Dangote. Very dangerous
In my more than 11 years of working in the corporate environment (energy sector precisely), I will tell you one thing: It is an employer that mistreats his/her employees that will not want them to join unions. Do some research on how Dangote treats his employees and you will understand why he does not want them to join any union.

Dangote's companies are runned by indians who mistreat Nigerians in their own country. Just so you know, all the IOCs have PENGASSAN, even reputable indigenous E & Ps like Seplat, Renaissance have their employees in PENGASSAN too.

So why will Dangote restrict his employees from joining unions if his motives for his employees are good?

Every industry has modus operandi, Dangote should find out what the other oil companies are doing to keep their employees happy and follow suit, not trying to oppress them as he has done to his employees in his other companies for donkey years.

If Dangote is the last employer in this country, I won't work for him because I value my dignity even as an employee. I cannot stand being abused or mistreated by an indian in my home country.

It's quite amusing to know that these same people are the ones who often claim that some of our wealthy individuals refuse to establish their businesses here in Nigeria. They run their businesses overseas simply because they already know what Nigerians are capable of doing....holding them to ransom in the name of association!. It is well oo
Quote me any day any time, dangote cannot run dangote company or any of his subsidiaries in USA,EUROPE OR CANADA the way he's running it in Nigeria. How much do you think he pays an engineer in his company compared to what an Engineer earns in any of this mentioned REGIONS..

Is that the reason why we should allow PENGASSAN sabotage the Nigerian economy and the ease of doing business in Nigeria intended to attract foreign direct investment? It will bring untold suffering to the people.

To stop this deep-rooted problem with cabals and economic saboteurs, Aliko Dangote should join a political party and contest to be President of Nigeria.

He should not be afraid to sanitize the system. The rot in the system is deep.
Re: PENGASSAN Has Shut Down The Dangote Refinery Plant. by ariesbull: 6:06am On Sep 29, 2025
Dangote is funny.... I can't own a firm and union will be disrupting my organisation...if I were DANGOTE

I will make it known that the workers are free to join PENGASSON But not within his company and that the. HR should ensure that there is nothing like unionism in his own company that is a law

If you want to work with me, drop unionism at the gate ... Or don't work

It's optional ... So that they can enjoy freedom of association
Re: PENGASSAN Has Shut Down The Dangote Refinery Plant. by Rindo69: 6:07am On Sep 29, 2025
Dissolve all these nonsense trade unions! They only have their interest in the forefront!

So, a private business owner will employ staff and those staff will join unions that will dictate to my staff what to do.

Those staff should go and be employed by the union.

No business man is a saint..
You are not a saint as well..

He invested his loot in his country..what have PENGASSAN and corrupt politicians done with their own loot..

Nigeria is still recovering Abacha's loot after over 25 years of his death..

Mention one single human who is a saint by any means..

Unionism is also part of the reasons they don't hire Nigerians, when they hire Nigerians instead of 100% focus on work they will be bother about union and looking to join but foreigners don't have that problems.
What is this one saying? When they hire foreigners, they pay them in bulk USD, when they hire Nigerians they pay them small shikini naira...why will the foreigner complain.

Show me any foreigner that will agree to work for the same naira amount they pay to any Nigerian they hire? You will see none.

So, the Union is there to protect Nigerians from being poorly paid

You are not seeing the bigger picture
If it is voluntary...why does the union want to shove it down the throat of the company..
Their stands IS that all the company's workers must be under union.. and this is for ulterior motives..
You can continue to deceive yourself that it is truly for workers welfare.. cabals who want to bring down the refinery want to use the workers to penetrate into the facility and control..

A clear example has been set.. IOCs who have no business with this are about to go on strike.. the union didn't go on strike when 3bn dollars was spent to rehabilitate dead refineries and none of them work today ..

Even the cement manufacturing division of Dangote group have unions.. it is not like the Dangote hates the initiative..

This case is different

.you think Dangote is a fool to not know what they want to use so called Union to do his refinery?
NNPC tried by trying to starve the refinery from receiving crude. Dangote went ahead to import crude And the fact that his facility sits on a free trade zone gives him the right to do it and most importantly..his facility can crack any crude meaning he doesn't need to stay dependent on Nigerian crude..NNPC failed..

NUPRC tried by calling products from Dangote concentrated with impurities (sulphur) today Nigerians attest to the fact that the product of the refinery are the best for their engines...NUPRC failed..

NUPENG tried by threatening to prevent lifting of products from the refinery..Dangote bought 4000 trucks to do it himself..they failed..

It is PENGASSAN turn..let see how it unfold..

Some how ..all these unions never stood up when the refineries died..when people were stealing crude and subsidy money.. when people imported adulterated products because they are complicit..

You can keep deceiving yourself..

ASUU not going to strike yet has nothing to do with CONUA but ongoing negotiation. You don't go on strike while negotiation is ongoing. It is against labour law. CONUA is irrelevant and can't be used to checkmate ASUU.
Very irrelevant CONUA and many don't even know.

How I wish it would be that anytime the FG honours their agreement with ASUU those in CONUA doesn't benefit then many will understand how it is..

A lot of Nigerians don't have thinking heads. They just cap nothing believing they are saying something.

The benefits of PENGASSUN to employees directly and indirectly in the industry far out weights the troubles.

This your comparison no hold up. CONUA is no rival union to ASUU. Even the members denied the union when EAA was paid

If you don't even know those who are UNION Executives are also employees within the industry.
You only hear Dangote bought trucks and nothing NUPENG could do about it. You need to find out how it was resolved, that particular issue. Please don't ask me.

It is not the place of PENGASSUN to ensure that the Nigerian refineries are working or not. No, it's never their place for members of PENGASSUN and it's EXCOs all over Nigeria are still employees.

It is like NLC telling the FG to employ people in government establishments......

Oh! So, he should run his business in Nigeria but pay the same salaries as they're paid in Europe and America! Just listen to yourself now! Even at that, working for an organization is by choice, not by force! If he doesn't employ the indigenes, we condemn him and claim he employs only his people.

What exactly do we want.

Why can't you establish your own refinery and pay your workers what's obtainable in Europe and America? But no! Someone has established, all you want is run it through the back door.

Later we will claim the foreign investors and even our people in diaspora are not coming here to invest their money.

It is well!

And I shake my head... Let dangote monopolize the oil and gas section...soon or later it will clear for ur eye that PMS will be sold for 1500 to 2000 by little...

So is NUPENG and PEGESSAN a fuel price regulatory body? They are just fighting for their pockets
Re: PENGASSAN Has Shut Down The Dangote Refinery Plant. by Opebiman: 6:44am On Sep 29, 2025
We will see how it will turn out..

Good luck to Nigeria expect any further investors to come in..last year Nigeria only attracted a mere 1bn USD in FDI ..Egypt attracted over 40 billion dollars..I don't even want to mention Kenya and the rest ..

Nigerians are the loudest when it comes to destruction..but to build we go silent..

First it was NNPC..
Then we had NUPRC, NUPENG and now PENGASSAN..

let me remind you that Dangote cement have unions there.. this is way beyond aluta for members..

People keep yapping about Dangote workers being maltreated..so is it BUA or Lafarge that cement workers are earning billions.

They are complaining that Dangote is importing foreign workers..
What is the credibility of Nigerian workers in handle critical roles ..or you think it isn't costing him more money to retain foreign workers?.

Which Nigerian company can handle a standard road construction even Nigeria government patronise foreign companies and workers to hire big projects because they know most Nigerian fully owned companies are rubbish ..
