⚡Top US military leaders are pushing back against Hegseth’s new Pentagon strategy, which shifts focus to homeland defense, cuts emphasis on China and overseas commitments, and signals major command restructuring. Critics, including Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine, say the plan is short-sighted, overly political, and risks weakening US deterrence as China’s military grows and Russia remains aggressive.

⚡Top Trump officials, led by Marco Rubio, are pushing a plan to remove Venezuelan President Maduro, whom they accuse of running a drug cartel. More than 6,500 US troops are now positioned in the region, and officials are weighing direct operations inside Venezuela. Venezuelan opposition figures say they are coordinating with Washington on plans for a transition, envisioning exiled leader Edmundo González taking power if Maduro falls. While some Trump aides, like envoy Richard Grenell, favor diplomacy, the White House insists it will use “every element of American power” against drug cartels.

⚡Mikhail Mishustin reported an 11% growth in industrial production in Russia since the beginning of the year. The main contribution was made by mechanical engineering, the Prime Minister said at the plenary session of the "Innoprom" exhibition in Minsk. "The manufacturing sector grew by 3.2%. This is primarily the merit of the industry workers. Taking this opportunity, I congratulate everyone on their professional holiday — Machine Builder's Day," Mishustin said. |

Appleyard:Russia launched 65 attack drones overnight (Shahed, Gerbera and others) from Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and occupied Crimea. Ukrainian air defense, EW units and mobile fire groups shot down or suppressed 46 drones across the north, south, east and center. 19 drones hit targets at six locations, with debris falling in two more. That is last night's attack. It is only in your fake channels that they intercept "ALL" the drones. |

A 47-year-old woman, Zhimin Qian, has been convicted after authorities recovered 61,000 Bitcoin worth £5.5bn at current prices. Between 2014 and 2017, Qian orchestrated a large-scale fraud in China, defrauding over 128,000 victims and storing the illegally obtained funds in Bitcoin. She was arrested after a seven-year probe in the UK by the Met, who seized the 61,000 Bitcoin in her possession. Sanctions are not effective but their citizens are always feeling the heat. From using fake identities to secure jobs in the west to stealing crypto. NK, Russia and China are always the biggest fraudsters. |

⚡Russia states that Ukraine is preparing a provocation in Poland — a staged infiltration of a supposed Russian-Belarusian sabotage group into NATO territory. According to the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), the operation will involve the “Freedom of Russia” Legion and the Belarusian “Kalinoŭski Regiment,” both fighting on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The plan reportedly includes simulating an attack on critical infrastructure inside Poland to create the appearance of Russian involvement. Moscow emphasizes that Warsaw is aware of the plan — it was allegedly developed jointly by Ukraine’s military intelligence (GUR) and Polish special services. The SVR also reports that recent drone incursions into Poland and Romania were organized by Kiev with the goal of drawing NATO’s European members into direct confrontation with Moscow.

Saladdin:Venezuelans have been battered by economic terrorism (that's what unilateral Hegemonic sanctions are). Kind of how the Iranian public voted for Pezeshkian because they wanted respite from the harsh economic situation. At the end of the day, it may not be about myopia as it is about survival. I keep repeating that the Hegemony's most potent weapon is its economic pincers. Venezuela like Syria has been softened up and has a large enough segment of the population that want the tribulations to end. China and the Axis needs to hurry up with an alternative economic system. It's neither easy nor fun to be North Korea and Cuba. Think about the current condition of Nigeria and what it would be like if we were not even able to export oil, gas, agricultural produce, or even buy things on credit. On top of the pervasive corruption and inefficiencies. All of our pro-Western 🤡🤡🤡 on the thread will be promising their masters in Washington their blood to overthrow and kill the President Qaddafi style. You can absolutely see that happening. We are just one policy, one pronouncement away from fellow citizens here becoming armed agents for a Libyan type total collapse. This is why for all his faults, Putin is a genius. Why the CCP for all its drawbacks is a phenom of the ages. And it's not like they can even rest easy despite having trillions in savings. It's an ongoing fight every day. -Lord |
