Omo!

The rate of crime/insecurity in this country is something else o. This AriseTV staff died this morning when armed robbers attacked her residence in Abuja .

Nooooohh

2027 is more important.

Everyday is now back to back attacks in Kwara, and nobody is saying anything. My last line of hope was erased when I saw that Peace deal with bandits in Katsina. Even the IGP defended the Peace deal.

It will spread, and maybe it needs to personally start touching people, before they understand the mess Nigeria is in.

May God comfort her family.

Damn💔, this girl posted less than 24hours ago on Twitter, just like that she's gone? The rate of insecurity is too much

Dangote knows how to press the ignorant button of Nigerians. Now, everybody is lamenting how NUPENG is collecting 50,000 per truck.

Why I don't know and support whatever that levy is, it is very insignificant in this matter

50,000 naira for 30,000 litres means nothing. No Petrol station will even reflect that on the price. That's like 2naira on each litre, which obviously if it is added, you need to buy 500 litres to pay 1,000 out of that levy.

What has 50,000 levy have to do with obeying the labour laws of the country?
He has an army of paid hacks who are painting PENGASSAN as a cabal that controls price of fuel

It would be comedy if people were not swallowing it. The dearth of corporate job exposure and basic logical reasoning has a lot of youth rooting for a govt nepo baby to kill a route to the middle class.

Omo! They need to do something about this insecurity issue o.

Just earlier today I saw a post on twitter about a lady that was kidnapped on her way back from the recent call to bar ceremony they did in Abuja last week . She finally became a lawyer , went for her call to bar ceremony and while on her way back Bandits/kidnappers abducted her and some other people they traveled together .

Funny thing is almost everybody has moved on like nothing happened but her family have been in pain and agony since that day till now .

My son was considering a uni in Abuja and I told him I want him as close to lagos as possible. No where in this country is safe anymore. Especially not the north which has an army of almajiris ready to take up slots in banditry

She’s gone o. Imagine someone getting killed in her house .

I doubt if the lady is married or has a child before this tragic incident.

This was literally the girl's last post, 10:26 pm. Imagine dropping your phone to sleep, looking forward to the next day, only for something like this to happen.

It's weird.

Kwara seems to be the new state they have planned to scatter. I am starting to think that all these attacks (Yes, all of them) are sponsored by people in the system.

Because tell me how a man in Bayelsa killed his real estate agent friend, and he was still caught and arrested in Lagos, but Kidnappers will kill and make calls, and even collect money, and yet, nobody can find them.

Bandit leaders converged on one spot, and the government didn't seem it fit to catch them all. Rather, they honoured them with cash prizes and Chieftaincy titles.

Sadly, that's where many sources of our food come from, so it becomes a problem for everybody.

The Nigerian state has been pampering terrorists but chose to call them fancy names like Bandits , unknown gunmen, etc .

I just have a feeling that ever since the Niger delta militants got amnesty with bumpy security contract ; every other group across different regions have been trying get their own slice of the cake thereby causing more and more security issues in this country .

I hope they don’t overrun Kwara state anytime soon. Since the terrorists overran Niger state , I Kwara was definitely going to be next

I'm even tired of talking about it..... this security issue is also the primary mover of real estate prices in Lagos.
Limited land and forced migration, people are forced to spend North of 40% of their yearly income on shelter........na who dey alive dey find money.
Things are really bad.....

What do we expect from a government of kleptocrats?

Criminals who came to serve themselves.

That is why all they say is propaganda. No one knows exactly what's going on.

Worse part, is that some people can't see through the open deception and instead of holding the government accountable they are more interested in who calls Oba his brother and not elder brother. Such madness.

What concerns Nigerian media houses is to invite politicians and be asking them silly questions..

Zero coverage about the level of insecurity in this country..Even Nations at war don't have the number of dead people that's being reported now in Nigeria..

One thing I’ve come to realize is that a lot of Nigerians are stupiiid , as in very stupiiid and that is a fact irrespective of the number of degrees and professional qualifications attached to their profile on LinkedIn or the blue tick to their handles on twitter and IG. The way people drop dumb takes over this Dangote vs PENGASSAN issue has further confirmed my beliefs on that .

You will see takes like : “ Workers are free to unionize , but Dangote is also free to not want unionism in his refinery ; so he’s right to sack all Nigerian staff who opted to join PENGASSAN” . You will also see them arguing with u when u are trying to educate them ; they will conclude by saying “ If you don build your own refinery, allow the workers to unionize na make we see if u won’t regret it “.

Like these guys are so ignorant and talk as if all these IOC’s like Shell , Chevron, Total, etc who have been in Nigeria for decades have not been allowing unionism and have been having smooth employee relations . E reach Dangote turn, he claims unionism equals to sabotage of his operation .

The only reason Dangote doesn’t want his staff joining PENGASSAN is because he knows every two years they will call for a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) that will see their salaries adjusted in line with the current economic realties and improve their general welfare in line with the company’s earnings . PENGASSAN will not allow the management to be taking in tens of millions of dollars while the staff generating the income are living from hand to mouth . This is what Dangote is not prepared for and thinks he can use emotions and propaganda to dodge .

What PENGASSAN is dragging with him has no political undertone at all; but a lot of dumb Nigerians have been programmed to see things from the angle of “ the cabals don’t want Dangote refinery to succeed “ . It must be said that Dangote has been used to abusing the rights of his staff to unionize in the fertilizer space , cement space and other industries he’s invested . So trying to make him obey the law in the oil and gas space caught him unawares ; hence why he’s spending so much on influencers to change the narrative on the mind of dumb Nigerians being manipulated without their consent .

Everyday I go out, I always remind myself that a lot of Nigerians don't know what they want.

If you look at those defending Dangote, they are mostly people who haven't worked in a corporate space or big firm. They really don't understand what a Union is.

No employer can love you more than your Union.

Suddenly, Dangote has the right to decide because he built his with his money, but Chevron, Shell, 11, Seplat, collected isusu from Nigerians, so they don't have the right.

Baba, please stand your ground and insist on having him school either in Lagos or Ogun state or Ibadan at most . Nigeria don cast pass level wey a young adult living in Lagos go dey fantasize about traveling all the way to ABU Zaria , Bayero University Kano , UNN, etc because of the prestige those universities are supposed to have .

Any small thing now ,one can become a victim of kidnap and the whole family will be running from pillar to post to find ransom.

I wonder how a Soldier who's allowance is 3k a day for staying in the bush would feel, when he sees a government giving money to Bandits (the same people who killed his friends and would kill him) as Peace deal.

Isn't it better he sells Intel to Bandits, and secures his future?
