It depends on the packaging of the hotel,,
If they publicize themselves very well,,they wouldn’t be bothered about the given name.

But you’re somehow right,, incomers usually would prefer this latin name.

But it still scream inferiority ,,that our local given names don’t matter.

That’s why i love what ‘Eko hotel’ did .

Don’t mistake Intercontinental for Continental. I’m a premium member of most major hotel chains and you can trust me on this one: none of those poorly designed and cheap hotels will get a passing interest from the brands they’re imitating.
