Everyday I go out, I always remind myself that a lot of Nigerians don't know what they want.

If you look at those defending Dangote, they are mostly people who haven't worked in a corporate space or big firm. They really don't understand what a Union is.

No employer can love you more than your Union.

Suddenly, Dangote has the right to decide because he built his with his money, but Chevron, Shell, 11, Seplat, collected isusu from Nigerians, so they don't have the right.
Nigerians just like to foool themselves and will put mouth in things they don’t even understand . The same Dangote is well known for his anti-labor stand even in markets outside Nigeria hence why he regularly gets into trouble with labour unions .

In the other markets like Zambia for example they don’t say because he’s a foreign investor who brought forex to their country they will then allow him to treat their citizens who work for him unfairly . They allow the law takes it course and the unions have their way at the end of the day.

In Nigeria on the other hand, u will just see people arguing out of point to defend him either because of their political leanings or because of their incurable ignorance

Sometimes I wonder if our service chief even do their work at all. From Benue, Niger, Plateau, and now Kwara the story is the same. Now people in Kwara is evacuating, leaving their ancestral land, properties behind. Probably starting a new life in an IDP camp.

The insecurity around that axis is not unconnected to activities of illegal miners there is a scramble for gold. The authorities know what is going on in the region, I got wind of an information that illegal miners set camp in one of the villages in Kogi West area the chiefs are active collaborators.

I don’t know about the Kogi incident , but below is a video of one of the Kwara victim’s wife alleging it was Miyetti Allah that killed her husband .

The widow can be seen in the video cussing out the state government and DSS for not doing enough to protect their community . She claimed Miyetti Allah killed her husband along with other victims . She didn’t make mention of any illegal mining .

She alleged DSS took guns from local hunters(guns which they were using to protect themselves) and Miyetti Allah had guns which they used to perpetuate the act

Na people like Prof Jerry Gana that have gone hungry since 2015 when Jonathan lost election that are pushing him .

They want access to the cookie jar once more, but they are unwilling to decamp to APC and too proud to support any other candidate. They know Jonathan is a yes-man; the only one that can guarantee them unfettered access to chop wella if he makes it back to Aso rock.

Jonathan will definitely lose scandalously if he decides to contest; APC won't even need to do much work to discredit his ambitions. They will just revisit the various corruption scandals of Jonathan's appointees and take off the leash of their propaganda machinery to go full force at him and his campaign
https://www.nairaland.com/8529442/tinubus-aide-bayo-onanuga-welcomes

Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, made these assertions in a statement he signed Monday evening titled, ‘Former President Jonathan is welcome to the race. Nigerians will remember his dismal record in office.’

Onanuga said while the administration “wholeheartedly welcomes” Jonathan to the race, should he decide to run, the former leader would have to contend with both constitutional hurdles and public perception.

He said, “President Jonathan reserves the right to run if he wishes. It is his inalienable right to contest the presidency again.

“But Jonathan will have his date in the court of the land…and will also have his encounter with the people as to whether he has anything new to offer after his disastrous six years, for which they voted him out in 2015.”

Jonathan just wants them to push him to a point of no return. Unfortunately for him, people like Reno don jump ship and will provide APC with enough ammunitions to smear the little reputation he may still have.

Reno will be on the background supplying through pass to Bayo Onanuga and Daniel Bwala to choke Jonathan's media handlers.

Baba, please stand your ground and insist on having him school either in Lagos or Ogun state or Ibadan at most . Nigeria don cast pass level wey a young adult living in Lagos go dey fantasize about traveling all the way to ABU Zaria , Bayero University Kano , UNN, etc because of the prestige those universities are supposed to have .

Any small thing now ,one can become a victim of kidnap and the whole family will be running from pillar to post to find ransom.
God saved me and my colleagues from a close call on our way to Abuja earlier this month when we got to Kogi. My soul almost left my body.

This is very possible. Another modus operandi of the Chinese, even though this might not be connected sha.

Instigate violence. Chase the community away, and then mine.

This is after all security and local authority have been settled beautifully

Doesn't this look like a clear plan to sack people from their ancestral homelands and take over? Anyone saying these bandits don't have a mandate is deliberately blind.

That is why I avoid road travel over long distance at all cost.

Can't imagine my family running helter skelter to sell any sellable and even borrow just to pay ransom after which nothing is guaranteed whether the kidnappers/bandits/terrorists would keep to their words to release me.

Our Zeal for political analysis Everytime, is making us not to see the true picture of Nigeria - Seun Kuti, 2025

I wonder how a Soldier who's allowance is 3k a day for staying in the bush would feel, when he sees a government giving money to Bandits (the same people who killed his friends and would kill him) as Peace deal.

Isn't it better he sells Intel to Bandits, and secures his future?

Insecurity will consume this country faster than we think.

It's open secret that these people no rate us at all. Everybody just dy after im pocket.

I also believe it's connected to external forces but the major causes start within and the chief security of the country and the respective states is no where to be found....

The media is focus on politics and money oriented news. The people move on like nothing happened. No protests, no petitions and the chief officers are not worried because they know most Nigerians feel unconcerned and would do nothing except the insecurities directly affect them.

When you look at the gory pictures coming out of some states, even from kogi state, you will know we've lost it all. Death bodies piled up and packed into graves.

It's a sad situation! embarassed embarassed embarassed

That is what happens when they give someone like that such platforms. The organizers should've invited someone as musically versatile and cerebral as Saheed Osupa instead of Taye Currency. Currency is not worthy of the platform and he confirmed it with his yeye performance.

Imagine singing "weyrey la fin wo weyrey " at the coronation of a first class Oba like the Olubadan. Something that even hip-Hop and younger artistes like Olamide , Wizkid, Davido, etc won't do. And I learnt that Currency's son is in the Oyo state House of assembly as chief whip or something like that. Man wey get piking wey don old reach that level come dey sing rubbish for the Coronation ceremony.

Another reason may be because of the state they both came from.

Taye is from Oyo state (I'm guessing). Maybe Saheed is not.

So they decided to give it to the Son of the soil. But the organizers should have let him know what was expected.
