Every monday is Sit-at-home in your region. Do the IPOB members feed those traders that are forced to sit at home back to back to back on those days?

Do people close their shops every monday in the EAST because of the love they have for MNK or Ekpa?

Or your logic is only activated when discussing issues relating to non-Igbos?

Na that one day dem no go feed, other mondays wey dem don dey close shops, dem no dey chop?
you doers of iniquities, APC defender. listen up, good market sells itself, if that man of a president is really doing well, people need not be pushed to come out en masse to welcome him, why the awareness and the memo. I know the people that will eventually turn up will be paid agents. what evil APC cannot do doesnt exist.

According to the state Commissioner for Trade, Commerce and Investment, Rex Anunobi, all the traders of the affected markets should come out en mass to welcome Tinubu to the state.

The affected markets are Imo Relief main, green roof and plaza, Imo Auto market, Naze, Imo international market, Alaba, Imo international market, Egbeada, Imo international cluster market, Naze, Imo Timber and Allied market Naze, Imo cluster market, Hausa section, and Imo mechanic village market, Avu.

Government has no right to shut any market for any reason that is not security related.

YOUR STALE PROPAGANDA OF FALSEHOOD.

Listen, IPOB does not fix or force sit at home in the east.
Nigeria government use fifth columnists to force sit at home in the east.
In the details are cheap cash from crude oil and gas deposits in the southeast and southsouth.

When I said he is going to imo to beg for votes His foot soldiers said he doesn't need our vote. They are now using force because the governor knows people will no even notice he is in the state. He is not an option for 2027 in SE .
Tinubu does not need your votes. Don’t confuse people like Hope or Umahi’s attempts to please Tinubu for their own political relevance as Tinubu or APC needing your votes.

Hope or Tinubu fighting for their personal political relevance is different from Tinubu needing your votes. APC has won the last 3 elections without the SE votes and it will win again without it. SE politicians are merely fighting for themselves because they know what positions they get is based on the votes they deliver.

Orji Kalu wanted to be senate president, how can you be senate president without delivering votes, when SS delivered votes? That is why you see people like Umahi, Kalu and Uzodima running up and down. Uzodinma and Umahi want to be vice president in 2031, this is about their personal ambitions not about APC or Tinubu needing or begging any known bigot zone for votes. Everybody knows the SE will never vote for a yoruba man and smart people know APC does not need their cotes to win.

Sit at home is a genuine protest to draw attention to the injustice that's going on in igboland while uzodima's forced closure igbo businesses to welcome a man who has never hidden his deep hatred for the igbo nation is completely foolishness.

The president or imo state government should also force them to sit at home.

Umuahia is my maternal home. With the display today, I speak from the depth of my heart.

After Tinubu 8yrs I will support igbo presidency when power returns to the South.

Ndi Imo surprised me today, not just me but many of us here in PH.

We are receiving full updates and positive ones.

I pray it doesn't rain in Imo as it is raining now in Port Harcourt.

Seriously raining but it has stopped now.
He hasn't arrived yet but ofc Security is on lockdown.
No rubbish, if you do anyhow you see anyhow.
Some came in from Umuahia and PH yesterday. Since 4am, it's heavy security and patrol but no harassment.

What most here don't understand is that the closure is more of security checks than coming out to welcome him but they didn't want to state it 'cos of mass panic. All these markets are in the right of way via the route where the President will drive through. So, it's better everywhere isn't crowded and all that. People who didn't go to their shops are in their houses, just supporters, well-wishers, friends are waiting for him. However, there are gigantic billboards everywhere, SERHA 4 TINUBU 2027.

The Governor is not a popular person at all in Owerri but his roads/buildings are very good ones compared to what RO put there. The Control flyover & ICC building were well built.

This uzodinma is confidently clueless, what concern market people with tinubu visit...Will government fed them and their dependents for the duration of tinubu visit....if he want to impress tinubu he could have declared today a public holiday, so that civil servants under government payroll will come out and wave hands like children to the motorcade of the BAT
..so if Tinubu is to stay at imo state for 4days that means market and businesses will be closed for 4days

Years of misrule have really done great damage to some of you guy's brains. So, a trader will close his shop and come stand under the rain for someone?

Because you'll feed him and his family today?

You can't force people to love and support you; it comes naturally.

Nice..... The traders should sacrifice a day, close there shops and come out in large numbers to appreciate his excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a job well done as the leader of this great nation.
what is the "job well done" by tinubu that the traders need to come out and appreciate tinubu for?

if indeed he was doing a job well done, will the traders not come out on their own instead of the governor closing the market when they dd not ask him to do so?
