The DSS should be tackling this as economic sabotage. How can a group of people decide to hold the entire nation to ransom. |

The DSS should be tackling this as a form of economic sabotage, reasonable felony, economic terrorism and an intent to incite the public. None of them should leave that meeting until the issue is resolved How can a group of people decide to hold the entire nation to ransom.? Nonsense and ingredients. |

You cant hold another man's business to ransom because of unionism. you can get a license and start your own refinery. Dont tell another man how to run his business |

LibertyRep:Pengassan is protecting Nigerian workers fired by Dangote and replaced them with Indians Which you might probably have been among them. Unfortunately you keep blind eye to the evil because it's not your concern. At the same time showing ignorance of the law that protects workers rights to join any Union of their choice. |

Saboteurs. The real Pengassan are not the people sacked by Dangote. They are the stinkingly rich labour leaders who sit under ac and whose pot of soup will be thrown away. They are the actual enemies of the people. Dangote as a company protects the welfare of his workers better that these wolves and wild beasts. They will never go on strike over hunger, insecurity and inadiquate minimum wage. They would prefer to go on strike to punish millions and cause fuel scarcity. |

Anyone who has worked in a corporate environment will know that your employer cannot love you more than your Union. The Nigerian law clearly stipulates workers to have a Union when their strength exceeds a minimum number But because Dangote is the first man, and first oil company to exist on earth, we should burn the Nigerian constitution. No wonder Chinese and Indian firms don't take us seriously. Anything goes in Nigeria. |

Can't we just do what is right for once & for the benefit of the masses. Anyway, fingers crossed on the outcome of their ongoing reconciliation meeting later today. |

P1PrinceKT:A large number of Nigerians are very ignorant. Someone is protecting the staff, they are complaining. I never see these kind of daftness before. |

Na wah Ooo! Is it no longer possible for a wealthy individual to build a refinery in Nigeria without encountering obstacles? PENGASSAN should refrain from causing Dangote to regret constructing this refinery in Nigeria. If they believe his actions were unjust, they should take it upon themselves to build a refinery and provide employment for those who were terminated. PENGASSAN appears to be merely advocating for their own interests, exploiting the situation of the terminated workers as a front to disguise their true intentions. Peace! |

izzou:I saw a senator protecting Dangote on this dispute with out even waiting patiently to understand the question asked by the journalist. If our law makers whose their major role is to make these laws do not understand the laws of the Constitution how do you think an Average Nigerian to understand it? |

izzou:Protecting who, exactly? If Dangote decides to shut down the refinery, would the unions even have a say? Both sides should find a way to accommodate each other, but let’s be honest—Dangote holds both the knife and the cake in this situation. |

jahsharon:Before he can do that he has to annull section 40 of the Constitution and Nigeria Labour act 2004. Then he gives room for lots of madness, from then Nigerian workers will became slaves at their workplace. |

P1PrinceKT:I really don't know how we got this low, as a country. It is even how they think that a Union will affect the price of petrol? What has a Union got to do with Dangote, selling at 865? People are simply asking him to follow what the Constitution says about protecting the right of worker, but only reading through this thread sef dey shame me. |

All these are plans to cause fuel scarcity for people who aren't wise to talk bad about our APC government. But I'm happy Nigerians are becoming wiser |
