Closing the markets doesn't guarantee the support or likeness of the people.
Closing or not closing the markets, the people who wants to come out will do so.

what is the "job well done" by tinubu that the traders need to come out and appreciate tinubu for?

if indeed he was doing a job well done, will the traders not come out on their own instead of the governor closing the market when they dd not ask him to do so?
The State government made a request for them to come out and welcome him. They were not forced.

Every monday is Sit-at-home in your region. Do the IPOB members feed those traders that are forced to sit at home back to back to back on those days?

Do people close their shops every monday in the EAST because of the love they have for MNK or Ekpa?

Or your logic is only activated when discussing issues relating to non-Igbos?

Na that one day dem no go feed, other mondays wey dem don dey close shops, dem no dey chop?
You stay far and dictate fully what's not happening in the East...... how many times have I closed my business in the East, leave your keyboard and move around

You aren't the traders so you have no right to ask me such a question. Let the traders themselves refute it if they haven't benefited from the government of PBAT

Years of misrule have really done great damage to some of you guy's brains. So, a trader will close his shop and come stand under the rain for someone?

Because you'll feed him and his family today?

You can't force people to love and support you; it comes naturally.
But you clap and dance when ipob criminals force markets, scholars, banks, hotels and other organisations to shutdown whenever they have a mood swing undecided

Closing shop for a day will not stop them free eating.

They are not honouring Tinubu. The are respecting constitutient authority.

It can be anybody tomorrow.

Nigeria isn't for one person.

Nigeria is for all of us

God bless Nigeria 🙏

Seriously raining but it has stopped now.
He hasn't arrived yet but ofc Security is on lockdown.
No rubbish, if you do anyhow you see anyhow.
Some came in from Umuahia and PH yesterday. Since 4am, it's heavy security and patrol but no harassment.

What most here don't understand is that the closure is more of security checks than coming out to welcome him but they didn't want to state it 'cos of mass panic. All these markets are in the right of way via the route where the President will drive through. So, it's better everywhere isn't crowded and all that. People who didn't go to their shops are in their houses, just supporters, well-wishers, friends are waiting for him. However, there are gigantic billboards everywhere, SERHA 4 TINUBU 2027.

The Governor is not a popular person at all in Owerri but his roads/buildings are very good ones compared to what RO put there. The Control flyover & ICC building were well built.
The Governor has done far better than Udenwa, Ohakim, Rochas combined.

I do visit owerri for my Masters program at IMSU.

Uzodinma has done well. They only hate him cos he is APC.

To be Frank Uzodinma will still produce his successor.

Anybody he supports will carry the day. The man Uzodinma is quiet but a strong and radical politician.

Tinubu will secure 25% in Imo state come 2027.

Beg for votes! No serious candidates would beg for Ibo's Votes! Both Buhari and Tinubu won the election without votes from the East.

Since when did the Monday sit at home become your business?

I thought we all agreed that they are inconsequential and must be attacked they try to vote in Lagos or anywhere in the SW, as you play your bitter politics..
