Nigeria happening to people means evils happening to them because Nigeria is a dysfunctional country.

The day you pass Seme border and see how organised smaller countries like Benin Rep and Togo are, you will be ashamed of Nigeria.
Those countries are far ahead in terms of organisation and culture

Point of correction she died of suicide, no armed robber killed her......

Nothing is wrong with Nigeria. The problem is with some bad leaders and citizens whose greed, indiscipline, and rotten mentality drag the nation backward. Nigeria doesn’t commit atrocities, people do. Until we change our mindset, we’ll keep running in circles.

She was not a hero. She was only a beautiful woman who read news daily. She sef chop from government money. She was an ambassador of sorts. They eat from the national cake and denounce the hardship which may touch them.

She wasn’t murdered. She killed herself. The robbers begged her not to jump but her mind was made up.
Where do you hear this please?

This is why I particularly impress it in especially Obidents to keep off focusing on the negatives of the country.

The spiritual law is that you will manifest what your attention is on. You also attract whatever you fear.

This is why I have to pull off the Obident ideology entirely because it is taken over by too much negative energy.

Nigeria is the Garden of Eden👌🏽

Yes Nigeria has been happening to us. The positive happening to Otedola, Tinubu, Dangote et al.

The other side of Nigeria happening to your brothers in South East Asia Ewons will continue to happen you and all you love. Amen.
You guys keep recycling the names of just select few, less than 2% of over 250 million citizens everytime.

What is wrong with you?!!

Over 1000 souls have perished in less than 6 months this year alone.

Is it a crime or will it be a bad thing for this nation to function normally for everyone?!! Or for at least half of the population?!!

- Security at national and state levels
- Potable water supply to homes
- Security agencies that actually know their jobs
- Corruption-free Executives and agencies
- Transparent administration
- Healthcare that Mr. President and all elected leaders being paid with your resources can proudly use
- Elections where votes actually count

Etc...Etc...!

I know you can't imagine such things being possible in your lifetime... But, just try... At least travel to other nations and see how things function.

Don't go too far... Just enter Kenya or Senegal, if you can't afford Egypt or Morocco.

You would be ashamed to keep using Otedola and Dangote to brag.

Our mindset is critical to our outcomes.

Unfortunately, Nigeria happened to her like it has happened to other Nigerians under the tinubu government.

This country under tinubu has become a dangerous place to live in. If you get money, abeg leave this country to a saner clime.

I don't go along with your conclusion, we know the country has lost so many individuals this year, but I don't think is up to that figure.....

Maybe may Nigeria happen to you or your loved one....... government is supposed to protect the masses as primary responsibility
The citizens play a far major role than the government when it comes to security.

Have you ever imagined the ratio of all the security personnel’s to that of the total population of the country? If you do, you will get to realize that patriotic and crime free citizens makes a country safe.

We celebrate fraud, questionable wealth and all sought of societal ills, but will point hands at the government when we directly affected.

Canada, UAE Saudi, Austria and Switzerland are only safe because they have patriotic and law abiding citizens. The government does little. Take two million Nigerians there and you will see how crime will go through the roof.

You as a person, were you trained to say God bless Nigeria?

The same human governing the countries you referred to are the same governing Nigeria. Are whites more angelic than blacks?

Nigeria is bad and there’s no two ways or better way of saying it.

Until we rise and deal with the wicked politicians the hard way by sending them packing, the human development we envisage will never come to be. Never.

It is majorly the failure of the government that’s responsible for most of what happens, including insecurity.

Let’s always be wholistic in our views.

I bet you would not have made such comment if this happened to someone you know.

May God continue to lead us aright.

Lol... Even the media can't keep under-reporting forever.

The confirmed numbers they chose to release are still shocking.... Imagine the ones they hide?!!

I know for a fact, that over 200 perished within a weekend across the North and Middle belt alone... Just one weekend o!

If you do the maths, you will understand how dire this nation's circumstances are currently.
Re: Emotional Post By The Late Arise TV Journalist, Sommie by hotseat: 4:49pm On Sep 30, 2025
The power of life and death truly lies in our tongues.

Therefore, be careful what you say concerning yourself and your country.

It's a truism for one not to speak ill of the dead but, what does it mean to say "let Nigeria not happen to me" just because the country is passing through turbulent times?

In the great USA, only a couple of days ago, a deranged element deliberately rammed his vehicle into a church and thereafter started shooting innocent worshippers indiscriminately.

A day hardly passes by without people being shot dead by crackheads yet, no American speaks disparagingly of their country.

This same Nigerians would rather japa to the "sane clime" of America if given the slightest opportunity.

Crime and criminality aren't limited to Nigeria alone.

Sommie: rest in perfect peace.

Nigeria didn't happen to you, heartless people did.

Adieu, young and enterprising lady!

Does god bless evil? No.

The blessing God has blessed Nigeria that has been hijacked and plundered is more than enough. If two states are dedicated to cocoa and chocolate alone it can out-earn crude and gas. Over 100 million adaptable youths. What else is God suppose to bless us with?

The bible clearly states how God will bless whoever blesses Israel an curses whoever hates Israel. How will God bless a country that supports baking alive of israeli kids?

You think God is a hungry voter? Never.
Re: Emotional Post By The Late Arise TV Journalist, Sommie by lapintoz: 4:56pm On Sep 30, 2025
God bless you. You can see the mindset of the beater leaf people crawling all over the space. Go to the section of Nigerians caught all over the globe for drug dealing, trafficking and smuggling.....they are there. And they will come here and be ranting about a government doing its best to improve the fortunes of the nation.

But no, simply because their Pandora gbajue candidate lost, the whole country in their mind is a zoo and will forever remain a zoo.

God go continue to dey shame una

Why are the mindsets of almost 99 per cent Arise TV staff like this? Nigeria has happened to people and they excelled, blame bad leaders but stop hating on your country. After all, she went to UK and returned on the account of not being fulfilled! Beware of what you fear...

This is emotional and at the time painful as this is the Arise TV journalist that was murdered by armed Robbers in Abuja

Sommie, 29, was not only a cherished member of the ARISE News family but also a vibrant voice that engaged and connected with our viewers.

May her soul continue to rest in the Lord.

There is something called 'registers' in english, some terms are meant to mean specific things. No need bringing in Otedola and the others into this.

When criminals know that they will face the consequences of their actions, they are constrained from committing crime.
