The price of cooking gas has shot from 1200-1500 because of Dangote - Pengassan standoff. It's high time government should step in and take decisive action.

That is the excuse they are using. It is his company and has the right to hire and fire. Nupeng and Pengassan didn't build refinery for him, neither is dangote refinery a public infrastructure, it is a private business and no union has right to decide for him what to do.. They can go and build theirs and decide what happens there

What is the full meaning of ASUU? Have you ever seen ASUU dictating for covenant University, Babcock , or Madonna University? Abacha once dissolve this pengassan and nupeng, democracy has brought them back again to continue from the madness they've been exhibiting for decades. Tinubu should as a matter of urgency dissolve them too if he wants to see real progress in that sector

Dangote a.k.a local champion should stop flouting the constitution of Nigeria and international labour laws.

Benefits of Unions to workers are numerous:

1. They ensure workers rights are protected
2. They ensure proper welfare of workers
3. They ensure personal protective equipments (PPEs) and all necessary safety materials in hazardous jobs such as Dangote refinery are provided for workers.
4. In situations of death, they ensure the benefits of their departed members are paid to their families.
5. They checkmate wicked employers that may want to pay workers peanuts for jobs that require more remuneration.

Those supporting Dangote should get educated and see the evil lurking in the shadows if the man stops unionism.

Shell, Total and likes never stopped unionism because they have respect for labour laws and the right of association enshrined in the Nigerian constitution.. e reach the local champion a.k.a lover of monopoly turn, he started screaming sabotage just to arm twist the Government and unsuspecting Nigerians.

how did he float the Constitution, he has right to hire and still fire any employee that no longer serve the interest of his business. If ASUU aren't disturbing Babcock University, and other private universities, pengassan and nupeng have no right to dictate for dangote
