President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has declared that his administration has successfully delivered on the “change agenda” promised by the All Progressives Congress (APC) when the party came into power a decade ago. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

The president made the remarks on Tuesday during his visit to Imo State, where he attended a book presentation and commissioned newly completed projects.

“The Promise of Change Has Been Fulfilled” – Tinubu

Speaking at the event, President Tinubu emphasized that Nigeria has moved past the difficult days that nearly led the nation to collapse.

“Ten years ago, our great party, the APC, came into office with the promise of change. That change is being witnessed here today,” he said.

Tinubu further explained that the reforms introduced by his administration are steering the nation in a better direction, adding that critics who question his policies lack a proper understanding of economic principles.

“Our critics can say whatever they want because they don’t know any better; their arithmetic has always been wrong. We understand financial engineering and progressive methodology much better than they do, which is why we are here,” Tinubu asserted.

During his official visit, the president not only attended the book launch but also commissioned a number of completed infrastructure projects in the state. His presence drew the attention of political leaders, stakeholders, and residents who applauded the initiatives.

President Tinubu assured Nigerians that his government remains committed to nation-building, economic reform, and sustainable development. He noted that while challenges still exist, his administration is determined to drive lasting progress across all sectors.

“We promised change, and today I can confidently tell you that the worst is over. Nigeria is no longer where it was 10 years ago; we have passed that,” he said.
