Racoon:
"The accurate measure of our success will not be limited to economic statistics alone, but rather in the;
-1). Food on our families' tables.
Score:
Zero except for his cronies feeding fat on the nation collective patrimony. Many civil servants spend 75% of salary on basic necessities of life. Zero savings.

-2). Quality of Education our Children Receive.
Score: Zero!
Most children of the elites school abroad. Imagine the failure rate in SSCE, JAMB

-3). Quality of Electricity in our Homes. Score; Zero. The power minister is a symbol of the government failure.

-4). Security in our Communities. Score; Zero! Your guess is as good as mine.
Funny, these are the same areas I highlighted to one APC supporter a while ago where Tinubu's failure is over-extended; hyperinflation, costs of living, electricity, education, security, banking services, transportation. The question now is why APC members and supporters have chosen to seek shelter in denial in the face of their glaring incompetence

No doubt he means well for Nigeria but please you should tell the president the truth. His team aren't doing well and Nigeria is not feeling the impact of his reform....I wish you know how I long to see Nigeria flourishing irrespective of the person leading the country....

The decade old rots is not something to clear in just less than 3 years. Though that shouldn't be an excuse but at least we are seeing the progress which is a bit slow

The issue I have with his speech is that he says we haven’t strayed too far from the goals of our founding fathers. We have strayed greatly! I think it is important to emphasize that!

1965: 1000 Dollar = 540NGN

2025: 1000 Dollar = 1,523,000 NGN

Indeed we are better than where we were in 1960.

Thanks for insulting our intellegence.

We are finished in this country with this kind of brocast from the president. The reality facing Nigerians is totally opposite what this man is saying. I strongly believe his handlers are deceiving him. It is unfortunate we find ourselves in this situation as a country. May God help us all.

There is no progress made when democracy is hijacked. We have a civilian dictator as president who does not consider the far-reaching consequences of his policies as long as they suit his purposes, not that of the welfare of the masses. This is what dictators do. They stifle progress with their bigot infested policies and appointments.

After the long bastardization of the economy by successive administrations over the years, it was indisputable that any government coming after the long spell of economic make-beliefs, would be faced with Herculean task of bringing Nigeria back from the brinks of near economic collapse.

Tinubu may not have been able to bring Nigeria to its desired status but, there's no denying the fact that we are on the right track to achieving just that.

It's much easier to destroy than to build.

No one lays a foundation and have a structure completed in a day, so it is with Nigeria.

The most intractable challenge is not just the economy but that of insecurity.

Once Tinubu is able to get it right, all other sectors would be addressed with the speed of light.

Besides, nation-building requires concerted efforts of all and sundry and not just the job of a single individual.

We, as patriotic Nigerians, must contribute our individual quota to nation-building.

Here's wishing ourselves happy Independence Day - Nigeria @65!

Cheers, highly esteemed compatriots!

Nothing has been said about electoral reforms?
That alone tells the mindset and the body language of this administration. They don't care if our votes counts...

Over the last 10 years, listening to presidential addresses is like listening to absolute rubbish!

Nothing inspiring! They just come to brag about policies, buy time, do more damage and hand over to the next destroyer

I couldn't read to the end because most things stated are just vague and not realistic. Security is worrisome especially in the Northern part of the country where bandits are now seen in the open with their weapons in communities walking free and even having so-called peace talk with government representatives with their weapons strapped on them. And Mr. President said he is winning the war against banditry and terrorism. Kwara state is becoming worrisome security wise nowadays.

It has been pain, despire, anguish, regrets, beleaguerment and national stagnation have been the order of the day. My aunt told me about the Nigeria of 1950-60 that did them real good. So why do things Nigerians are desperate to JAPA?
Is it true that Peter Obi will broadcast to his Biaflan blothers at 12 pm today.?

They are really deceiving Tinubu 24/7 . If it sure for him that he is performing well let him reform INEC and give us free and fair elections and see whether he will get 20% out of 100% votes. I can bet it with anything

Introduction of large scale fraud and corruption. Lagos-Calabar will not not be completed in 2035.
Unprecedented killings, Kwara has joined the failed state. Unprecedented hunger and hardship. Many can't fuel their vehicles, because fuel has increased beyond their incomes. It takes more than 2 weeks to sell 330000 litres of fuel per station because of low patronage. Unemployment Unprecedented. Add your lists.

Redoil:
Our founding heroes and heroines—Herbert Macaulay, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Margaret Ekpo, Anthony Enahoro, Ladoke Akintola, Michael Okpara, Aminu Kano, Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, and other nationalists—believed it was Nigeria's manifest destiny to lead the entire black race as the largest black nation on earth. this people are crying bitterly in their graves especially
.
1. Chief Obafemi Awolowo who gave most of our current leaders free and best education up to Msc degree to avoid miscreant and Agbero both online and offline
2. Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti who fought for women to make sure their voices were heard loud and clear
Let's call a spade a spade & be critical critic of a critical situations l, some of the people mentioned above were actually responsible for the current woes that the country is experiencing thru their actions & inactions!!!. Had they seem beyond their myopic thoughts, they could have formed a Govt of National Unity in 1959 at least at the Centre immediately after the Federal Election that none of the then Political Parties outrightly won. But rather it was North for the Northerners, East for the Easterners & West for the Westerners. That's to me was a costly mistake. Beside, had the January 1966 Military Coup not be one sided, there wouldn't have been the July 1966 Counter Coup & the Nigerian Civil war could have been avoided. For me l,once the seed of discord had been sewn, it was impossible to correct hence the series of calamities that vefell the country since then. Today, Nigeria is at the Crossroads whether we like it or not. China got her Independence about the same time like Nigeria, can we even compare it's development with that of Nigeria. It's like comparing Death with Sleep!!!. Honestly speaking, I can't see any light at the end of the tunnel bc the tunnel is still very, very dark !!!. The solution to me is to first of all get back to full Regionalism & insert peaceful Session Clause in our Constitution. Thereafter, any part or section of the country that still wishes to secede should be allowed to go thru proper Referendum. The formal USSR & some other Nations did so peacefully. So, why can't Nigeria do the same if need be (God forbid anyway)!!!. I come in peace ooooo?!!
