Today's independence day and we have made no progress as a collective. What exactly are we celebrating 65 years of backwardness? Anyway, if the world beaters like UK, US and Co really cared about Nigeria, perhaps they should stop anybody from the political class from residing in the US. Yes you could do business, but you and your family will not be allowed to reside there permanently.

Perhaps a petition to be created let's see how it goes. I believe with this one move, Nigeria automatically becomes better for it. Who would not want to secure their country of residence...not even the corrupt polithiefcian wouldn't want a safe haven for them and their kids.

Yes it is a very good move but the problem is it involves variables we cannot control, like whether the American government will actually do that.

What we can do is for Nigerians to let go of religious and tribal sentiment and always speak the truth. The truth has to be the highest human thought process. By speaking the truth we can be more united on issues.
