You should argue logically. Bad belle as per I don't own a car or I don't have access to the same trips that you do?

You'll can do you. But just know that the screenshots you post here or anywhere else is the reason they're targeting drivers now.

You all claim it's a motivation but I see it as false hope and deception.

It's been raining for some days now and there are surges here and there, and thus, the reason for the increased earnings.

Post your earnings on a normal day let's see how much strength you get to net 80k per day consistently.
You say it's not consistent and members shouldn't post dashboards because they can't keep netting such amounts everyday . . . That one 'wrong turn' or 'one way' can wipe the entire profits away . . . That the government will always be bringing new taxation means and papers for drivers to get . . . etc, excuses upon excuses to hide your insecurities, laziness and jealousy. You forget some of us have been here for years and seen it all play out.

I still vividly remember when a certain member called cheerfulgiver was here posting dashboards morning afternoon and night, day in day out, rainy or dry season CONSISTENTLY and what happened? . . . you all still bounded together to drive him away from the thread even though he was consistent.

I made an example of there being other social media platforms where your dashboards are being shared but you turned a blind eye to that example. . . Saying it's only nairaland that influences the government decisions concerning ehailing.

Even when this thread was comatose for about 2-3 years both before and after subsidy removal some of you were still screaming about low fares and dashboard postings, during the time this thread was dry didn't the government implement more taxation methods? Why didn't they wait for the nairaland Uber thread to pick up again before they told you all to go get more documents?

Tinubu was the one who made us pay more for tinted permit, vehicle ownership, ECMR etc . . . Was all these implemented and targeted at you ehailing drivers alone?

Hmm, Nigerians . . . God help us

If you're a newbie and need assistance in navigating the ehailing terrain in Lagos without people telling you what to post or what not to post just DM me so I can send you an invite link to the nairaland Lagos Uber drivers telegram group.

I don't even see the blessing anymore these are the reason why more government agencies are now interested in it.
Lolz...I don't think u can have a meeting of 10 people and not know if ehailing pays well or not. U don't need to come to nairaland Uber thread to know that. Infact 98 out of 100 Nigerians don't know nairaland.

Before I answer that, are you a graduate?

Because if you are, you'll know that there are some office works that their yearly bonuses will rival whatever you make in 6 months and they don't need to struggle under sun and rain.
"Some office works"
Why aren't u as a graduate doing those jobs?

Nobody said ehailing is d best paying job or hussle. I see a lot of people have problems of comprehension of simple English grammar.
Only you know d reason why someone's dashboard triggers u but one thing I know is that it is not for a good reason or Just Cause.

I understand and I am not talking about nairaland only in my own context, like generally. Which is why I personally will not tell anyone not to post there earnings even though I don't like the idea, but I know I don't have control over it

I understand you have a reason why you feel this way about dashboards posting generally.

If I were to ask you to try to try and explain to me exactly WHY you have this conviction can you try to at least not brush off the question? Can you answer it for people like me who are yet to 'see' what you 'see' understand?

It's very important you make us understand so we can also take initiative like you do and stop posting such stuff here. Anytime the question comes up it's like there's an unwritten rule to never give clear explanations on the dashboard stuff.

I believe this is only fair, I mean you want it to stop right? We can help . . . Just let us understand along with you.

His right honestly as regards the posting of dashboards bringing attention to the business but the guy that posted is also right in that his excited that God has buttered his bread. Honestly I see the wisdom in not posting dashboards again cause government agents dey here wey dey use am against drivers. Shebi Dem want start e hailing inspection etc.
Dem no see yellow smelling buses inspect abi undecided
So in that regard yes but is the business a good business as compared to present economic situations...yes also.

there is nothing you or I can do about it now. Ehailing has been under the radar for so long and it has been a safe haven for people who needs reasonable means the if livelihood apart from the 9-5 but recently with all the buzz around it government is now interested trying to regulate it as if they've ever done anything for the industry before. As if when people were getting killed in this same hustle the government did anything about it. Now they want more money on every ride and still want us to be coming for one stupid inspection and collecting another extra certificate (PTC) as if imposition of hackney permit is not enough

My brother, you really helped me reply this guy and there's nothing much for me to add.

I didn't post to put any other person in pressure but to encourage anyone who needs it.

To make that dashboard, I did 16 trips that day swimming the whole of lekki. So, I'm not saying it's easy, I'm just saying with hard work, we can stay levelled up.

On a daily basis, we encounter different kind of people, the Polite, Rude, wicked and uncultured people, but I'm never moved because I'm just all out for my daily bread and to feed my family.

I am not here to boast, I'm a just encouraging like I got some encouragement to start when I wanted to few months ago.

Started doing Uber for d first tym after over 5 years of driving (just weekends) and I think I have abandoned my bolt app. Something is quite different. Some Uber rides are not taxed on my account dashboard.... Some not even up to d 25% I heard of. I am guessing kus I am on trial for Uber pro gold or am I wrong??

Bolt does that too.
It means they have deducted their commission from the trip bonus they gave you.
But, commission taxing on every trip is a must.

So guys this is my dashboard for last month. Did some really cool offline trips too. I started newly a month prior to this, I spent approximately 372k on fuel alone. This hustle was really helpful to meeting my short term needs, bills and clear some debts. Thanks to all the senior men that helped. My advice to young men especially those with personal responsibilities and that of families is never to wait for better days, that's a losing strategy. Get out of your comfort zones and eke out a living till you get back on top, don't see it as demeaning or beneath you, what is beneath you is living from hand to mouth, being unable to pay bills and begging people consistently thereby being a bug. Adenuga also did Cab/Uber in the streets of London before he is what he is today. Just keep the vision alive and never let the hunger die. My contract job has started so i would be willing to drop my car for a committed lad here. Reach out!

Happy new prosperous month guys
