I'm suspecting she knew the armed men were coming for her specifically, they had to make it look like a robbery...the reason she decided to jump from a 3 storey building.

With her kind of job, it's easy to make enemies.

Don’t believe anything you see on the news especially if it relates to police or govt. They will straight out lie in most cases. Have a run in with them and see.

My own experience is a long story, but I'll make it short. I lived off-campus too and for several months, armed gangs burgled hostels and raped female students in all the neighbouring hostels around us except ours. So, we knew they would visit us someday. It was so bad that they attacked one hostel twice within 3 weeks.

So, we decided to become our own security as local virgilantee had failed us. The plan was for us to run security shits among all the students in the hostel. When it was your week to secure the hostel, you will sleep on top of the metallic house used to suspend the GP tanks that supply water to the hostel. You stay with your phone and torchlight, the moment you see suspicious movements, you call the virgilantees as we didn't have firearms at the time.

Immediately one put his hand inside through window to cut the protector, I used Cutlass to cut his hand. He shouted and his group ran for their lives.

He was later handed to police where he confessed and the rest were caught.

Was in ND2 back then.......it all seemed the armed robbers came specifically for the freshers which were the ND1 students....... Immediately they entered our hostel,we were still outside gisting on that fateful night...That was how they pointed their guns at us, ordering all of us to lie down......One of the robbers pointed at one of the freshers and said to his fellow robber--" Oboy,this guy resemble that guy wey Fvck my girlfriend......E be like say i go blast am oh" That was when my friend bursted into tears, swearing with his father's gtave that he didn't know what the robber was talking about 😂. Las las,they took their phones and left,cuz my phone was faulty then..

In a nation where thugs reign supreme from the north to the south, and we know what APC winning formula is, i believe she was a target and they merely disguised as robbers to teach her a lesson. She worked for Arise TV, a media outlet hated fiercely by APC. APC, a thug infested and run enterprise cannot be ruled out in the probable source of the robbers.
If they could infiltrate protests to cause chaos aand justify forceful tactics, what stops them from infiltrating the society to control the media and achieve same again?

They rob students for phones, laptops and they don't mind to also collect the token pocket money too. I was robbed twice as a student during my undergraduate days and it was God that saved me.
