Davido’s manager, Asa, has shared a lighthearted glimpse into the benefits of being married.

In a recent social media post, he revealed that his wife helped him find a link to watch his favourite Champions League match, making his evening hassle-free.

He described the assistance as a small but meaningful win, highlighting how partners often support each other in day-to-day matters.

Asa used the example of watching a football match to illustrate a broader point about marriage. He noted that having a partner who understands your preferences and steps in when needed strengthens the bond between spouses.

His post also underlined the idea that marriage can provide both emotional and practical support. From managing schedules to helping with personal interests, a helpful spouse can turn routine challenges into enjoyable experiences.

This perspective encourages couples to view marriage as a collaborative effort, where small contributions from each partner add up to shared satisfaction and stronger relationships over time.

As a family man, you're not a kid anymore.

Better stop the boyish football fandom when you get married. I have seen a hole where the kids questioned the Dad why he was almost never home when they went to bed. He was always out with friends to watch EPL and UCL.

He stopped immediately. The wife never questioned him, but the kids did, when they were old enough.

Football fandom is something a family man should not do because he is not a kid anymore?

Why, when he could have just watched the matches at home with his kids?

Stopped going out, or stopped watching football?

One should not have to give up what they like simply because they got married.
Also, there's nothing wrong with hanging out with friends every once in a while.

It will never happen as far as it doesn't stop me from being responsible.
