With a playful smile, Daniels quipped that Nigeria is now “older than her husband,” billionaire businessman and politician Ned Nwoko, before recalling fond memories of her childhood Independence Day celebrations.

The actress reminisced about how Independence Day used to be a major event in schools and communities, with children proudly dressed in green and white, marching through the streets while singing the national anthem.
