The real definition of partnership is assisting one another, abroad 90% of households run on partnership, even the full time housewives are saving their husbands from daycare/nanny costs.

You don't command authority or respect by making all the decisions, what happens if you became disabled, unemployed or dead? Whether UK, US or 9ja, if you reduced your wife to nothing more than a child bearing cooker/cleaner then you're still living in the 1800s! Mr.macho man, what happens if you kpai or became disabled? That woman that you failed to invest in, that woman that you failed to empower will now all of a sudden be at the mercy of the government in order to feed the family?
