One early morning as I woke up to see my girl friend off while my door is open getting home I discovered my two phones is missing I couldn't cry nor shout I just kept quiet and report the issue to my lawyer friend and police station knowing fully well that Berger will come back again and one of the phones is given to to me in the office as CUG so reported the case to our HR for them to take note. So I decided to be keeping my door open early morning then stay lay in one corner .after two weeks thank God the idiot came back again after he saw I have replaced the phones.i purposely kept them on my table with a sharpen cutlass as an igbo wey I be by my side as the guy dey put I pick cutlass on top of the guy hand infact I almost remove the guy hand. Lo and behold na my landlady son wey no get job just about.they have to rush the guy to Igbobi hospital .immediately I ran to my lawyer friend and police to report the issue.my landlady no fit come confront me talk rubbish.na people dey tell me say make I go see the guy for igbobi I say I will never do that.

When I was in the University, armed robbers followed me with guns as I was coming home and took me to my room.

I stayed off campus and that is how one of the armed robbers sat on my chair with a gun pointed at me to bring what is in my possession.

As a student,I was only having 500 naira then and I quickly gave the armed robber the 500 naira.
After giving the armed robber the 500 naira,I went into my wardrobe and started scattering it myself searching for money I did not keep there.
I was searching o o o then the armed robber now told me to stop searching 😆.

He told me to come with him to knock the door in the next room close to me.

I went and knocked and after knocking, I quickly went back to my room and layed on the floor with my face down.

No be small thing.

I was robbed in the hostel and every time I look back, I always appreciate God. The first time, I was naked under my cover cloth when they forcefully opened my door, when they entered they collected my phones, went to other rooms and I quickly used that period to dress up before they came back to my room. They brought the other rooms' occupants to my room to lock us up but before they left that day, they asked me to come out and I did not answer, they came back and asked me to come out and I responded that I was praying and that was why I didn't come out initially and the thief said I shouldn't bother again. They locked us up and left. I would have been graped if I followed them out of my room.

The second robbery happened at another hostel I moved to and that one God saved me again b'cos they didn't see me where I squatted under an open wall hanger. I saw them and they didn't see me and the wall hanger was open. God is great. Two ladies who were with their boyfriends were graped during this one and an attempt was also made on my friend but they didn't grape her.

It is crazy that things have not changed and security is still an issue. I wish our security has been strengthened and forensic capabilities developed.

Immediately one put his hand inside through window to cut the protector, I used Cutlass to cut his hand. He shouted and his group ran for their lives.

She was fearing what happened to Nigerian newscaster Tukumbo Ayayi in uk in 2000 not to happen to her . that was why she came to Nigeria, eventually same fate befell on her.

Some times it's still students that do the robbery o. Some are joined by indegens to do the rubbish.

They robbed the hostel opposite my hostel then,and they were later arrested. It was a combination of north boys and indigens. Those ones will use Cutlass on students,when you try to drag with them or you have nothing to give them.

Some others that were arrested were cultists. They said once they get to your hostel,they will be saying the slangs of their rivers. Once you answer thinking they are you people,they will shoot you. Meanwhile they will still rob everyone in the hostel o.

Another one I heard,they met this cohabitating students. They were about raping the girl,where they gathered everyone in the hostel. The boyfriend soumoured courage to say " bros no vex,na my wife be that"

They laughed and said " this boy get mind o"

They push the girl on the floor,and the courageous boyfriend saved her from being raped in from of everyone in he hostel..
You nailed it but that boy that saved his girlfriend really get mind o .pure love shown on his girlfriend. I heard it's against the rule for robbers to rape when they are on a mission and if you decide to rape ,just know your days are numbered.
