I think the crux of the disapproval is bcoz the south east wasn't connected. Meaning that one could travel from south west to all the south south states without passing through any of the south east states. And this has economic implications to the south east.

It is highly unlikely that all the aforementioned would be achieved simply by voting for Peter Obi or any other politician.

In order for priority, that road project should be at the bottom series. It's a project being rushed for the benefit of the Southwest/Lagos axis of Nigeria

That was how some people were skeptical about so many proposed infrastructures in Lagos State but today a lot has been achieved.

The thing is, they are not happy that the government is making progress with the coastal roads.

if they have no point to prove, why not fix the existing federal roads within the Lagos calabar corridor instead of starting an entirely new road?

At least something is happening right there. Whether it is on a slow pace or fast pace does not really matter. It is turn by turn, it has already reached my hometown in Ondo State. Sooner or later e go reach every states in the south south.
